Don't look now seriously, the media really don't want you to look but Finland, the Democrat Socialists most favored nation, their example of the country America should emulate, just saw its government collapse and its Prime Minister and Cabinet resign due to the unsustainable costs of universal health care.

This happened last week. Did you hear about it from our great MSM in the news? Didn't think so.

https://legali**********n.com/2019/03/finland-government-collapses-over-universal-health-care-costs-bernie2020-hardest-hit/

This comes less than a year after Finland k**led its experiment with a universal basic income, replacing it with mandatory job training and work requirements for people on government benefits.

There's more at the link, along with a few ironic tweets from Bernie Sanders, lavishing praise on Finland. In one, he demands, If Finland can provide everyone with health care, send everyone to college for free and provide affordable child care, why can't the US?

Well, Finland can't. Neither can you, Bernie.

DID YOU EVER WONDER IF BERNIE WANTS THE SAME FOR AMERICA?

The centrist government resigned after their suggested reforms including privatization were rejected, at this juncture it looks as if the left of center social democrats will take the reigns. The escalating cost of healthcare in Finland is fueled by the aging population not failure in the system. The per capita cost of health care in Finland as proportion of GDP is significantly less than in the US with far better results, as it is in most all of Western Europe.

Mr, This is old news and was all over the legitimate press in early March..

Kevyn short post covers this very well..

It is not as bad as it sounds as the e******ns, now over, were expected to replace the center-right government with some more poised to compromise..

this Link has a pretty good report on the whole problem..

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/08/finlands-government-resigns-after-healthcare-reform-fails.html

Finland’s government resigned on Friday after ditching plans to reform the healthcare system, a key policy, the Finnish president’s office said, throwing the country into political limbo.

The president approved Prime Minister Juha Sipila’s resignation and asked his government to continue as a care-taker government until a new cabinet has been appointed.

The collapse of the government comes just one month before parliamentary e******ns are due, after Sipila failed to push through the reforms. The changes were crucial to the three-party governing coalition’s plan to balance public finances.

Financial constraints are colliding with the healthcare costs imposed by Finland’s fast-ageing population. But cutting those costs is a major political obstacle in a Nordic country that historically has provided an extensive -- and expensive -- healthcare system.

Sipila resigned “because the healthcare reform cannot be accomplished during this government term,” Antti Kaikkonen, the head of Sipila’s Center Party’s parliamentary group, wrote on Twitter. Several governments have tried to push through reforms in different forms over the past 12 years.

“Since e******ns were already set for 14 April, the resignation of the government is not a big deal at all at this point. Still, it does create some ugly headlines,” Nordea’s chief analyst wrote on Twitter.

According to the government, the reform could have curbed the annual growth of Finland’s public social and healthcare expenses to 0.9 percent from the current estimate of 2.4 percent between 2019 and 2029.

Sipila had previously said he would dissolve his center-right coalition government if it failed to push through its healthcare and local government reform.

Everything in my post is accurate and factual, the ignorance is in you failing to acknowledge that Finland has universal healthcare that is less expensive and provides better results than in the US.

I just reread the link you provided thinking I must have missed something. I didn't. And in what way am I "b***hing" at Kevyn? All I did was say what I believe about news sources. I read a lot of them, and lately I've been deleting from my read list those I catch in outright lies. My list is shrinking.

Perhaps I was unjust...

I intended to point out that the govt which collapsed was described as center right... and expected to be replaced by one a little more left..

Boy did I hit a nerve or what? I never saw Permafrost or Kevyn make so many posts in such a short time!

The fact is Finland's socialism has taken down their government as it does every time it is instituted as a system to run a country. Its Permafrost and Kevyn's job to defend it as best they can, lol.

=================
Not only Finland, but US will follow if these democrats are elected.
Here are the DEMS proposals including Bernie.

Bernie and DEMS are buying v**es using the money of the taxpayers. They don't not spend a dime from their pockets.
In order to attract v**es here are DEMS and Bernie's demands.
1. Free Medicare for all. Fact, Medicare is expected to go bankrupt 3 years earlier in 2026, than the predicted 2029. To keep Medicare, they will raise premiums, and reduce our benefits.
2. Free College tuition for all, including i******s.
3. Pay all student loans amounting to: Americans owe over $1.56 trillion in student loan debt, spread out among about 45 million borrowers.
4. Allow all criminals to v**e including terrorists and rapist.
5. Replace E*******l College v**es to Popularity V**es.
6. Reduce v****g age to 16 years.
7. Open borders and invite more i******s.

All Bernie's and the DEMS socialist policies will destroy the country within a year. The Dem who wins, becomes the dictator like Maduro, as the big mouth Ocasio-Cortez joins. Then the climate h**x follows.

The hypocrite Bernie donates only 2.26% of his income to charity. His IRS returns show.

I am a lot poorer than Bernie, but I donate at least 8% of my income. But these hypocrite democrats want to spend our money, while they keep theirs. E.g. Hillary's Foundation is so gross. Needs to be audited.

Ladies and gentlemen, please be vigilant. Save our constitution, v**e all GOP's in 2020.
