How many automatic rifles are in the hands of the public? What is being confiscated are not automatic weapons. They are semi automatic hunting rifles. Quit propaganda.

Banning assault weapons is not "denying someone’s right to defend themselves." It is not confiscating all guns in the middle of the night by black helicopters. It is banning military hardware from a civilian populace.
You say usually "Most attacks involve more than one attacker." And you say having an automatic assault weapon with a thirty round clip is needed? Collateral damage okey-dokey as you spray those attackers?
It has never been about control but always about saving lives. To say differently is true propaganda.

I have many rifles in my collection. Not one is an assault rifle. Why should I allow my rifles to be confiscated because some nut goes on a k*****g spree?

Military grade ‘attack weapon’? Where do you get this stuff? They aren’t military grade and very few people know how to convert them. Full auto is now illegal for civilians if I’m not mistaken.
There were a lot of people in my old neighborhood with one. It was mo big deal.

People don’t think. The problem isn’t the guns its the people using them. So how about we propose massive surveilance to catch these guys before they do anything? Think of the children. I think you do this on purpose. Automatic weapons are illegal and before they were illegal it was a long expensive process to get a license for a bump stock.
Its ALWAYS been about control. Always. Whether you want to believe it or not. Read up on how various democrats want to pretty much do away with the 2nd. Think about how you would go about banning them all - a slow incremental process.
