I believe the method most in line with the founding fathers intent would be the system used by Nebraska and Maine. The winner of the statewide popular v**e would receive 2 e*******l v**es with the remaining e*******l v**es divided by the winner of each congressional district. The site 270towin.com breaks this down for the last two P**********l e******ns. The site also states that this option is the most stable for the E*******l College. We need to urge our representatives to back this proposal as it will most truly represent the will of the people.

Can the Supreme Court stop the various states from doing this or are we hog tied and can't do anything to stop them from doing this?

I am not sure, but I believe that a certain number of states have to sign on before any of them can do this.

The E*******l College is established in the Constitution, but it leaves the manner of allocation of the e*******l v**es to the individual states. It is possible that the SCOTUS could rule that apportioning the v**es contrary to the v**e within the state is unconstitutional. The best way would be to pass an amendment to allocate the v**es, preferably in the manner used by Nebraska and Maine as I believe that is the manner most in keeping with the intent of the founding fathers.

Currently changing the e*******l college at all will just reduce the impact of citizens on the se******n of the President. Until we stop the v***r f***d, any change is just throwing the v**e even more to c***ters.

Gotta lot of red states with some pretty hokey old systems and ridiculous count rules, and no ability to recount. E******n f***d and suppression is far more of a problem than "v**er" fraud.

As I understand it, the e*******l College came about as a result of s***ery which it is a thing of the past. E******ns in all western democracies, except here, have functioned well without e*******l college for many many years. One citizen one v**e. He who gets the most v**es wins. What's wrong with that? Only then can you say the will of the people has spoken.

This sounds like a good idea to me. The e*******l college should reflect the popular v**e, while providing a check on e******n irregularities.

Unlike Hillary the Harpy, they also have standards.

I agree, pigs don't foul their own nest!

A result of s***ery? Really? Here we go with revisionist history again. The e*******l college was established with one main goal in mind: To keep like-minded (sometimes i***ts) from gathering in populous areas (see New England & California) and forcing their collective wills on the rest of the nation. Name ONE Western nation that's doing better than the U.S.. Just one. Go ahead and set it up so I can easily knock it down!

Yep, and now we have that nitwit Nancy Pelosi advocating for 16 year olds the right to v**e. Dimocrats are trying every trick in the book to increase their v**er base. Personally I think you should be the same age to v**e, as buying a gun! After all, according to libs it's all about responsibility.
