Time to change the e*******l college

The Democrats want to eliminate the e*******l college because they win the popular v**e in major population centers, but lose the e*******l college v**e because their majorities are too concentrated geographically. The Democrats want to form a compact of states to throw their e*******l v**es to whomever wins the national popular v**e no matter how the residents of the state v**ed. I believe the method most in line with the founding fathers intent would be the system used by Nebraska and Maine. The winner of the statewide popular v**e would receive 2 e*******l v**es with the remaining e*******l v**es divided by the winner of each congressional district. The site 270towin.com breaks this down for the last two P**********l e******ns. The site also states that this option is the most stable for the E*******l College. We need to urge our representatives to back this proposal as it will most truly represent the will of the people.

Currently changing the e*******l college at all will just reduce the impact of citizens on the se******n of the President. Until we stop the v***r f***d, any change is just throwing the v**e even more to c***ters.

I agree that the issue of v***r f***d needs to be addressed, but my suggestion on changing the e*******l college would help because, by anecdotal evidence, the majority of v***r f***d seems to be in major population centers.

If my preferred option had been in use in 2012, we would have been spared a second term of President Obama. That may have eliminated Hillary's email scandal and Bengazi. Then again, things may have turned out worse under a President Romney.

As is many democrats who currently serve in Congress along with the 12 Republicans who v**ed against the National Emergency.

Don't panic. Please check out the site 270to win.com and you will see what I am supporting actually strengthens the E*******l College. If Democrats get their way to change the e*******l v**es to go to the national popular v**e winner or do away with the E*******l College altogether, then our nation is in danger of falling to c*******m.

It's not tinkering with the Constitution. Although the E*******l College is established in the Constitution, the way the v**es are allocated is left up to the states. Maybe an amendment to allocate the e*******l v**es, but that may step on the states rights, namely the 9th and tenth amendments.

Given Romney's performance lately, Obama may have been the better choice. At least he didn't try and pretend to be a Republican. Romney, along with Lyin'Ryan, would have possibly been worse than Obama.
