Yes, he does, Tom.. Just as you do as well...

Differing opinions does not mean you can not like the person...

I love you Linda just because you are yourself.

And I would love meeting and conversing with you as well~~here's mine of the Garden of the Gods from last summer. (I did Photoshop the sky as it was a dreary grey day) Neat little road trip from Denver to the Springs.

I like yours better...

Yes, a nice little drive from Denver to the Springs...Always enjoy it.. Manitou such a quaint comfortable place too.. Can’t stay out of a couple of favorite shops there.. The real fresh made soaps without all the garbage win out everytime as does a particular jewler...

Do you believe that you're right about this?

No...I know I'm right, beliefs have nothing to do with facts.

Occasionally I believe I'll have another beer, and that becomes a fact

I'll have to PM him in a bit. He's a good kid, and funny too. Someone must have really burnt his ass good to make him take a break, but I don't blame him a bit. Sometimes, folks get wound up, and go too far.
Something I struggled with myself sometimes.

That Tommyradd character was rude to him thinking it was me. That's what really chaps my hide. If you are going to be an A--hole to someone you should at least get the right person. I already wrecked a thread for him to get even and gave some fuel to Kevyn against him.

I can’t speak for others but My beliefs change frequently over something I thought I knew or understood to finding out it may well be something else...Coming here and seeing other people’s opinion have on occasion made me rethink my position.. I’m thankful for it too...

I don’t think it is right to call people names period.. You can certainly make your position or feeling clear enough without reverting to such...Goes right back to defining themself not the person they called ignorant..

An ignorant person can usually seek additional knowledge to become less ignorant, but, as the saying goes, you can’t fix stupid.... Many intertwine the two when in fact they do have different meaning.. Neither are respectful ...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out that someone is ignorant, a smart person has no problem acknowledging something they are ignorant about... it's the only way to learn.

My mother completely insulted my sister when she and I were arguing about something she knew absolutely nothing about that I had a far deeper understanding of. The subject was Enron. I asked her if she knew anything about what had gone on, she replied not really. I asked her if she would like a quick rundown on what had taken place so that she would have a better idea what the facts were, she replied not really, I know everything I need to know. I pointed out that she had admitted she was ignorant and knew almost nothing. She got heated and told me she wasn't stupid, don't call me stupid. I told her I didn't call her stupid, I said she was ignorant not stupid, she flashed back, it's the same thing... at which point my mom started laughing and said she was sounding stupider and stupider the more she tried to talk about something she knew nothing about. My sister was looking a bit hurt and mom finished her with the statement that watching her try to talk with me about things I know a lot about was like watching a one legged person in an ass kicking contest, it was painful....that may have been a bit excessive...

Lolololl, sorry wood, yes, your mom may have been a bit excessive but its still funny...😄

I understand what you mean about she being “ignorant to the topic” and not herself... Thats what I meant by some associating it as one in the same..

We are a unique species aren’t we?

Yeah, Tom, that guy kept pushing until he got shoved back, then got up pushing some more.
Pure arrogance to me, like a few others here.

Each, and every one of us isn't always right, and that guy swears he is. Like a few others here. That's all well, and good, but he was a dick about it to someone trying to give him an out.

I don't blame Canuckus a bit for getting pissed.
He told me he'll be back. Just needs to regroup after losing his s**t.
I hope he does. That kid can teach us old turds a few things while having fun at the same time!

When you plan your next road trip, maybe you can swing by China, and see him!

I like the Canuck just fine. He reminds me how Americans used to be before all the conservative vs liberal crap happened.

Spot on Coos. I was a lib when I was discharged from the Marines in 69 and quickly changed my party affiliation to independent. I have v**ed dimocrat for Governor here in CO the last two times, except for the last one. I split my v**e according to the man/woman who I think will do the best job.
