Loans to build sports stadiums that are repaid
Are not coroporate welfare, they are paid back with intrest.

If you check 90% of these losns were approved by Socialist Dim-O-Crats.

I am not talking about loans. I am referring to cities building the arenas with very little chance of getting repaid. All are not loans.

I am not aware of any city building a sports stadium.

Which city has millions of dollars to build a sports stadium?

They were built in the past. Philadelphia for one. They also build a stadium if a team would indicate they would move there. How many teams have changed cities in your time?

The Boston Braves moved to Milwaukee then Atlanta Georga.

The New York giants moved to San Franciso

St. Louis cardinals moved to Phoenix, Arizona

New teams were established in San Diego, Los Angeles Angles, Seattle, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston

Football teams several New York teams moved Los Angles Rames moved to St. Louis when the Cardinals moved west. A houston team mived to Tennessee.

The New York Jets, New York Giants moved to the suburbs, Baltimore Colts moved to Indianapolis. The old Chicago Cardinals moved to St. Louis.

Then there were new teams in San Diego, 2 teams in the ssn Francisco area. Los Angles, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Georgia , South Carolina, Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa and i may have mussed a few.

Wrong answer. No one had jobs or money. Creating jobs is not Socialist. The building of the Hoover dam provided good paying jobs and low cost clean electricity for America.

Plus creating other jobs for the unemployed helped put America back to work again.

The Hoover dam, along with the other boondoggles that FDR financed, have had devastating ecological consequences for their regions. True to form, rdical environmentalists blame the dam on the free market and capitalism. They were constructed under crony capitalism.

The only agency among those listed, performing constitutionally permissible work is Defense.

Yet he was elected to four terms, dying in his fourth which also brought about the 22 amendment to term limits of 2 terms only after him...

Once they have served two, done!!!
We need term limits from the SCOTUS down to city mayors...

FDR DID NOT END TGE DEPRESSION unless it was By getting us into war.
He DID boost the morale of a suffering people in those horrible years--1932-1939.
FDR goaded Japan into attacking us, and well before Pearl Harbor he had American vessels aiding the British Navy by spotting and even firing on German U-Boats.
And he was incredibly cozy with Stalin. Study Teheran, Potsdam and Yalta.
He also kept China from its full role at the conferences to placate Stalin.

Adolf Hitler modeled his economic programs after Franklin D. Roosevelt's CCC, WPA, etc. FDR’s programs were carefully constructed to make it appear as if he was actually doing something about the problem.

His very first action as president in 1933 was to devalue the dollar by 75%, plummeting the value of the life savings of anyone who had any. He ordered the seizing of all privately held gold making it illegal for anyone to have any, punishable by substantial prison time. Every deposit box in the country was sealed with government goons assigned to confiscate any gold when they were opened.

Murray Rothbard wrote a book called The Economics of F*****m covering his vaunted New Deal. By 1937, even his closest advisors were conceding that it hadn’t worked.

He was a barely competent attorney and the law firm that hired him did so because of his old money connections. There is memo from a senior partner at the firm to the other members to make sure they gave no work assignments to him of any import or complexity.

He was personally a nasty man, arrogant and insulting to common workers who couldn’t hurt him and a bootlicking opportunist for those who could help him. I know two anecdotes about him, one witnessed by my father during WWI, attesting to this.

He was a true f*****t.

I remember when some people refused to accept a Roosevelt dime in their change opting for a liberty dime or two nickels.

He certainly did end the depression and created a stable middle class, he avoided the war possibly for too long as millions of lives probably could have been saved. he never goaded Japan, Japan the turn coats had been negotiating a peace treaty with us at the time.
Stalin accusation I won't even dignify.
it is only far-right radicals who would say things as you just have, very unamerican towards a president who brought us so far ahead.
