Quite a list. I don’t know if they could all be considered socialist, but I do know that all are not right for America. From oil and farm on, they all should be eliminated.

Adolf Hitler modeled his economic programs after Franklin D. Roosevelt's CCC, WPA, etc. FDR’s programs were carefully constructed to make it appear as if he was actually doing something about the problem.

His very first action as president in 1933 was to devalue the dollar by 75%, plummeting the value of the life savings of anyone who had any. He ordered the seizing of all privately held gold making it illegal for anyone to have any, punishable by substantial prison time. Every deposit box in the country was sealed with government goons assigned to confiscate any gold when they were opened.

Murray Rothbard wrote a book called The Economics of F*****m covering his vaunted New Deal. By 1937, even his closest advisors were conceding that it hadn’t worked.

He was a barely competent attorney and the law firm that hired him did so because of his old money connections. There is memo from a senior partner at the firm to the other members to make sure they gave no work assignments to him of any import or complexity.

He was personally a nasty man, arrogant and insulting to common workers who couldn’t hurt him and a bootlicking opportunist for those who could help him. I know two anecdotes about him, one witnessed by my father during WWI, attesting to this.

He was a true f*****t.

The first act Franklin D. Roosevelt passed in 1933 was to stop minting gold coins and replace the Gold standard and ordered all gold coins turned into the government for paper money. It was against the law to possess gold coins but later was admended to allow coin collectors to own them.

Taking money from people to go to any kind of welfare, personal, corporate or what ever else is not a capitalist program. It is a socialist action. It may be used by some who call themselves capitalists, but it is socialist.

Wrong answer. No one had jobs or money. Creating jobs is not Socialist. The building of the Hoover dam provided good paying jobs and low cost clean electricity for America.

Plus creating other jobs for the unemployed helped put America back to work again.

You are right on one point. Socialists do not create jobs. They spend the taxes paid off other people’s salaries who have been given work by capitalists. Building stadiums for sports teams also provides work, but the stadiums are corporate welfare for sports that should not be paid for with public money. Also, bribing corporations to build in a state with tax incentives may not be the right way to attract them, because many so many donot pay off their tax bills before they move or close. That is also corporate welfare.
Subsidies to farmers mostly go to large corporate farms who really don’t need them.
If it goes at all, it should only be to small independent farms that are falling on hard times.
