Michigan is an open carry state. Anyone can walk down any street in Detroit with 2 desert eagles strapped to their belt and a streetsweaper shotgun slung over their shoulder.

Is that what you carry, or are you just jealous

Typically the guns used in mass shootings are legally registered guns, those used to commit other crimes are usually NOT legally registered guns. Mass shooters don't expect to survive so they are less concerned with getting away with it. Of course there are exceptions to every rule so...

Yep, like ghetto gang members and the huge number of cartel murders on our southern border...you know, where there isn't any crisis.

Some pissed off peckerwood fired from his job with a history of violence was allowed to buy a gun that he used to k**l five people and shoot five police officers. I guess you think this was just an unavoidable accident. Do you realy think the price of freedom is accepting mass slaughter?

Why is it that you black folks won't address the high number of multiple homicides in your hood?

Since those are all unregistered guns, they have no bearing on this topic, this topic concerns legally obtained guns.

I have suggested this before when dr puts people on antidepressant they need to enter them onto a list so if they try to buy a gun or already own guns it would send up an alert to the appropriate watch agency. a small give in privacy but I think worth it.

Many of the most dangerous mentally ill, the most likely to commit these mass shootings, they often times either never seek help or don't get prescribed drugs to deal with their issues. Many that are depressed and are put onto antidepressants, pose no threat to either themselves or others.

Have never considered Byron a troll....

He presents his arguments and responds well to others...

I have found much pleasure both in agreement and disagreement with him...

Who says we have to stay completely on topic? Tangents occur and add perspective to the discussion...

I feel that this particular person has severe TDS and shouldn't own a firearm.

I usually wander off, on the ghetto murder situation on all gun control threads

Yes, tangents do occur though I hardly think that unregistered guns in the hands of a criminal has anything to do with whether one should be permitted a gun or be rejected one either if the person in question is likely to commit a mass shooting. One arguing their view points on whether one should be denied or allowed a gun should not be subjected to the argument that gangs have guns. I doubt a single handgun in the hands of a gang member is registered to that gang member. Giving a prospective psychopath a gun because a gang member down the street may or may not have an unregistered or even a registered gun hardly seems a way to avert a problem but rather a way to escalate a problem.

Yes, because I think talking about unregistered guns in a discussion on registered guns is derailment, it MUST mean that I suffer from TDS. Strange association, especially since I personally back the 2nd amendment, within reason of course. Perhaps you are deflecting your own TDS onto me.
