I simply pointed out that the publisher of this "fact check" website could not really say why obamas gave up their licenses. The only thing the author could say was there were no "ethics violations filed." This was admitted by the author. I also found it curious, but not anything more, that Ms. obama gave up her license after only four years after obtaining it.

I did not call either obama a name. Further, I have no concern over what they do, unless they insist in making public comments that are detrimental to the USA. In fact, should they die... I would add their family to my prayer list. This is what seperates people like you from me... you can not resist calling President Trump names and you would most likely celebrate his passing.

Actually, Penny, there was no author listed from MediaBias/FactCheck that I noticed...but, the quote you came up with regarding no filing of ethics charges came from a commentator below the debunking article named Jim Morris:

Jim Morris // April 18, 2017 at 11:16 am //

'Read the facts a little more carefully. No formal ethics charges were ever FILED. That does not necessarily mean there was no “deal” made to not file ethics charges if obama surrendered his law license. He could have surrendered his license to avoid the charges being filed; and there would be no record. Did this happen? I have no idea. But to say he did not surrender because of ethics violations based solely upon the fact no charges currently appear in the IADC records is not conclusive.'

The unknown author(s) from MediaBias/FactCheck had written in response to the bogus claim:

'No. A court official confirms that no public disciplinary proceeding has ever been brought against either of them, contrary to a false Internet rumor. By voluntarily inactivating their licenses, they avoid a requirement to take continuing education classes and pay hundreds of dollars in annual fees. Both could practice law again if they chose to do so.

Based on many credible fact checkers debunking this, we rate it this claim a BLATANT LIE.'

considering you posted lies about some school that was doing chants but could not produce a place time or location.. your post has no merit..

Now you think that I should provide information about trumpsters acting foolishly??

We see that, every day.. people cheering as he gives their child future away to the very rich.. In front of their eyes..

I posted lies ? I don't think so. I make mistakes, but I do not post lies. The only reason I did not post evidence was that I assumed you would know about this. It literally was all over the place. No, really how could you be so unaware of the existence of school children chanting to Obama that you dare think I lied ? I think it was from 2009. Where the heck were you living back then that you missed it ? Even under a rock you should have heard of this. Anyway here is the proof. I can find more if this is insufficient.

Yes, I saw that.... they rated it as a "blatant lie."

Dave Van Zandt simply said "No.

Here is a sign that Dave did not "investigate" the claim. His response is a copy and paste from https://www.factcheck.org/2012/06/the-obamas-law-licenses/... word for word.

However, Fact or Fiction (too bad you did not use them as your authoritative source): "The law license of Barack Obama was voluntarily retired and Michelle Obama's license was voluntarily placed in inactive status according to the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois (IARDC). Neither of them are practicing law at this time nor do their present jobs require a law license. Both records indicate no public record of discipline or pending proceedings and we have not found any evidence of malpractice.

A spokesperson the IlIARDC (I am assuming they spoke with James Grogan, deputy administrator and chief counsel for the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois) told T***hOrFiction.com that neither Barack nor Michelle Obama had any history of disciplinary actions."

I have found Brooke Binkowski's findings very accurate and this site does investigate stories rather than a copy and paste from what someone else has written. Here is the website for anyone who want as close to facts possible. https://www.t***horfiction.com/obama-law-license/ When you ran your google search you may not have gotten this site to pop up.... because they rated the issue as true. But, true only because the issue was not if someone had lied about the obamas, but true to the question: "Obama's Law Licenses Are In Voluntarily Retired and Inactive Status-T***h!" That is the problem when we go in search of a site that agrees with our position rather than in search of facts and t***h. As you said: "t***h be damned. C'est la vie."

The comment section, as is usual (just like OPP), full of pros & cons for the source's judgement/ruling. In other words, individual opinions. All things considered, it really does boils down to what people choose or want to believe...t***h be damned. C'est la vie.

Always a pleasure, Penny.

There is only one person who is responsible for your authority, Media Bias.... but, you have to look at another page to find that information, "Dave Van Zandt is the primary editor for sources. He is assisted by a collective of volunteers who assist in research for many sources listed on these pages.

MBFC News was founded by Dave Van Zandt in 2015. Dave studied Communications in college and over the years has focused on personal research in media bias and the role of media in politics. Dave is a registered Non-Affiliated v**er who values evidence based reporting." He is listed as "Editor/Owner."

As they say, the buck stops????? where?????

You are a sad person. Utube is a format. It can be true or untrue. This happens to be true. I think this would be hard to f**e. Utube has movie clips, music videos, etc. You are missing out on a lot of valuable information. I have found Utube videos on home repairs and even how to fold up a turkey blind. As long as you know the source of the Utube you can generally trust it.

Anyway since you need more proof that it happened. Here it is. https://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2009/09/burlington_school_under_fire_f.html

I expect your apology directly.

And as usual, with the left, when it comes to Trump the glass is half empty long before the fat lady sings.

When Obama was president, he accomplished nothing, and the left said nothing.

Then when Trump wins, the same l*****ts either simply pretend nothing happened or find ways to criticize his accomplishments.

Of course, lefties repeat the process over and over, preferring to be utterly predictable rather than concede that maybe the president got something right.

I am s**k of the word "left." The more appropriate word is, SOCIALIST.

Nice work, Penny. I gather, then, other than your incomplete/partial quote of me...we are basically in accord.

BTW, the complete quote should be, "All things considered, it really does boil down to what people choose or want to believe...t***h be damned. C'est la vie." (Although I had erroneously added an 's' to boil.)

Well.... I will make sure that I copy and paste your complete sentences rather than the point that is germane to my comment. Sorry, I know that many professional writers are real particular when they are being quoted.

I agree that the obamas, having no immediate use for their law license or for personal reasons did request; in one case "retired" and the other "inactive" status of their law licenses.

Son of a gun, son.. I am going to make your day..

I did as you demanded and clicked on Utube... as soon as I say the little kids dancing and singing.. I remembered I had seen them in the olden days..

In order to help everyone sing along, I copied the words and may also send a copy to Congressman Emmer, whose name will soon be familiar to you..

Honestly, I did recall this after I looked but I would never of remembered it without the extra input..

If the POV were reversed, I think I would be up in arms about it so I can understand that you do recall this

It was truly dumb i think, even though the intent did not seem to be as Beck maintained.. dumb is dumb..

Also, YOUTUBE... I do watch on occasion, normally for some information on near anything with a spark plug..

Yes, It is good source for a huge range of subjects.. but generally i would not use it looking for political support..

Last time I looked anything up, it was for building individual goose nesting housing..

Here are some lyrics to the first song:

"Mm, mmm, mmm!

Barack Hussein Obama

He said that all must lend a hand

To make this country strong again

Mmm, mmm, mm!

Barack Hussein Obama

He said we must be fair today

Equal work means equal pay

Mmm, mmm, mmm!"

The second song is set to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic .

"Hello, Mr. President we honor you today!

For all your great accomplishments, we all doth say "hooray!"

Hooray, Mr. President! You're number one!

The first b***k A******n to lead this great nation!

Hooray, Mr. President we honor your great plans

To make this country's economy No. 1 again!"

According to school district officials, the video was shot in February 2009 and was part of a program to recognize famous and accomplished African-Americans during Black History Month.

"There was no intention to indoctrinate children," District Superintendent Christopher Manno said in a released statement. "There was no political agenda underlying the activity."

The New Jersey Department of Education also responded via prepared statement.

"The commissioner has directed the superintendent to conduct a thorough review of what happened to ensure students can celebrate the achievements of African-Americans during Black History Month without inappropriate partisan politics in the classroom, as well as ensuring the privacy of children is not violated," said Beth Auerswald, a spokeswoman for the district. "In addition, it is our understanding the teacher in question retired at the end of the last school year."

Now my cut off time is near... you can add if you wish but I hopefully will not look until tomorrow... have a good night..

Oh wait... OK... I am sorry... not a lot but somewhat,, you said your would expect that, I would h**e to leave you disappointed..
