Well, I suppose if companies can't afford full time employees because of government mandated benefits, then replacing full time jobs with part time is more jobs

Companies can't afford full time employees because they are greedy and focus on profit margins. Seriously, just how much money does one have to make to be content -billions.....really? "It is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil."-Jesus Christ

Yes, I've been there too and it really sucks.....but these companies literally make billions of dollars compared to their employees. So Eagleye, how much is enough?

The free market and competition should determine that.
California won't be able to build a wall to prevent residents from leaving.

What Happens When Democrats Run Your State?

What happens when a community has more eaters than producers?

I suggest that Jedi and all others watch the video and pay attention.

No need too...the US has been plowing three-fourths of all grown food back into the ground since 1974....just to raise market prices. If we took all of that growth and priced it reasonably then the whole world could eat, and farmers wouldn't need a 12 billion dollar welfare check.....let that sink in.

Sorry buddy....you never really had a case on this one. As I stated, America has systematically plowed millions and millions of tons of grown food right back into the ground for decades. During the 70's our government decided that we had way too many farms (a million + back then) and that food prices were dropping because of the available supply. So the government started buying up farms -which k**led thousands of jobs of course - and subsidized the remaining farmers to supply what was lost by closing so many farms to lessen the surplus of food. Since, we have drastically raised the prices on various foods because we now "control" supply. Theoretically, as long as we are sensible we will never really run out of food -sure it costs way more than necessary - but that's capitalism right? Your thought about "producing more consumers than we can feed" is essentially rendered moot. The Defense Rests.

So you think the Democrats will do something about this?
Have they in the past?
Show some of their attempts.

And THAT is the crux of the issue!! Despite chance after chance for the democrats to craft policies that nurture individual success, they have repeatedly come up bupkus.

If "Obama Care" is such a great fraud....please explain why your republican senators wanted to scrap it for the nation, but keep it for themselves and their families.......I will wait............just like the whole nation is still waiting for that "great new healthcare plan Trump claimed he had ready to go in 30 days"...........still waiting..........still waiting........hello....anyone out there? Bueller......Bueller......Frye......anyone?

Your first misinterpretation is not correct. The people in Congress have their own plan and do not have the ACA. We must require that all bills passed by Congress should be adhered to by members of Congress also. They seem to never include themselves unless it is a benefit for them otherwise they do not include their selves.

Considering the destruction and carnage presented by republican presidents -as usual, it falls to the democrats to "fix the republican mess." Yes, I believe if democrats controlled at least one chamber of Congress things would drastically improve - controlling both chambers (House & Senate) would fix it and allow for correction of the current dumpster fire we now have in short order. It took Obama nearly 6 of his 8 years to fix the last republican fiasco under Little Bush because republicans are so hell bent on "power and control" they will defy even 'common sense fixes' just to keep the democrats from receiving the credit. For example, anyone with a basic fundamental understanding of how economics work know that this "great economy" we are currently experiencing is a direct result of the hard fought policies Barack Obama put in place - yet republicans still lie and deny, trying to give Trump credit for "something" (hell anything) that might make him look better. Eagleye, sadly you have convinced me that you are a "cult following kool-aide sipper" - so I really wouldn't expect you to understand, but after November 6 we will see won't we?

You have convinced nearly everyone who posts here that you wouldn't know an "irrefutable" fact if it bit you square in the azz.
