They have decided, in a P.R. move, to use political judo and take the Democrats strengths and convert them into "weaknesses".

The only problem is neither the minorities nor young women are so stupid as to believe the GOP's past pissing on their heads was just a form of rain.

Conservatives prefer to live in rural areas where there is less gubmint, fewer rulles, stop lights , and they elect right wing wackos such as Darrel Issa The cities is where the innovation is occuring (the action) Conservatives if they had their way would like to repeal the 20th century and return to the 18th where they would be more comfortable

So, for you it's all about identity politics - about race as the defining characteristic of a person.

As to who has done the most damage to b****s, tell us about the status of b****s in those areas most dominated by liberal Democrats. Did Republicans make places like Detroit, Camden, Newark, Philadelphia and Chicago the hell hole they've become for black people?

As to income ine******y, look at perhaps the bluest state in the union, the one with the most billionaires, California. Look at the most prominent politicians - Pelosi, Boxer and Feinstein - all multi-millionaires - the state with the biggest disparity. If you want to see poverty that resembles the worst in Appalachia, take a trip to Yuba City -or Modesto - or Stockton - and virtually any other non-coastal area.

So now we know why Democrats are adopting economic ine******y as their central issue: because their constituents, the people who live under policies crafted by the left, are the ones who experience the highest degree of income ine******y in their own lives.

That's the upshot of a recent study of income ine******y organized by congressional district: "Across the country, ine******y is lower in Republican districts than in Democratic ones" and is "highest in the New York district of Representative Jerry Nader, a liberal Democrat." Who has the congressional district with the least income ine******y? That would be Tea Party favorite Michele Bachman who represents suburban Minneapolis.

So no wonder Democrats are enamored with all of that rhetoric about ine******y and class warfare. Their constituents, the audience they are addressing, are far more likely to live in the American equivalent of Rio de Janeiro, a class society starkly divided between squalid, hopeless, crime-ridden favelas and safe, beautiful downtown playgrounds for the rich.

As usual, the Democrats are arsonists posing as the fire brigade, offering to solve a problem they created.

If you will please note, I said neolibeal economic policies over the last 35-40 years are responsible for the de-industrialization of America not Republicans or Democrats but both political parties are responsible. I'm old enough to remember when there was no gang banging in Metropolitan areas such as Oakland or Richmond California. And black families had an adult male figure head.

Neoliberalism has been devastating to the black communities all over the US. While re -distributing the national income from the many to the few. It has failed every where it's been tried
