They even fooled Collin. Powell as he has admitted regarding his shameful show before the United Nations. Well I wasn't fooled, I felt from the get go that something stunk to high heaven. The claims Darth Cheney was making on meet the press and such couldn't possibly be true. Saddam Hussein was a toothless old tiger that could barely keep control in Iraq let alone be a threat to the US.

And the press instead of being our watch dogs became lap dogs to the neocon Bush Cheney administration. Following instructions not to show the blood and gore, body bags, caskets being forklifted of planes, military funerals.

Just what was accomplished that would justify 10,s of thousands US casualties and igniting a sectarian civil war in Iraq that is still raging today not to mention nearly a trillion dollars down the drain.

The Democrats need to be aware of their own war-pimps, not just the Republican ones. By now everyone knows that Dick Cheney was just the evil spawn of satan.

However what about the f**e "progressive" Hillary Clinton.

This woman v**ed to authorize war in Iraq.

She v**ed against legislation that would have barred the sale of armaments to nations guilty of major human rights violations.

She also v**ed against legislation that would have, internationally banned the use of, childhood ending land mines.

This f**e progressive also took $400,000 for two speeches to Goldman Sachs.

We need to "out" our own creeps as much as the Republicans need to close the doors and keep out people like Cliven Bundy, Rush Limbaugh, and Ted Nugent.

We need to bar the f**e progressives like Hillary and Bill and replace them with truly decent people like Gov. Howard Dean, and Senator Elizabeth Warren.

(Whenever I mention Senator Warren's name, I always pre-emptively remind people, that her mention of native ancestry, was just the re-telling of what her own family told her. Most of us work on that principle and do not hire professional ancestry researchers).

So, can we hope for a 3rd party run by Warren, or maybe a primary challenge to Hillary - Surely a Warren/Dean or Dean/Warren run would get almost as many v**es as Nader -

The Democrats learned their lesson about third parties from President Perot. Ralph Nader may be a narcissistic i***t, who enjoys the public limelight, but Gov. Dean and Sen. Warren are not that selfish...or stupid.

You are right, in your observations. Republicans and Democratic "lite" politicians both outsourced the middle class with NAFTA. Bill Clinton was nothing more than a corporate Republican with an "I feel your pain" smiley face.

In terms of Calif. inland cities Sacramento is the one big exception, being heavily Democratic. There is no demographic majority group. W****s, B****s, Hispanics, Asians, Arabs and Jews are all minorities there.

Brian-as concerns Bill Clinton, is that the reason you want to elect Hillary or do you democrats merely enjoy seeing a once great country going to pot ? Good Luck America !!!

I would rather see a Dean/Warren than a Hillary/Biden ticket. The former represents a modicum of common sense. The latter belongs in an arena at Barnum and Baileys. Good Luck America !!!

Ricko, you have confused me with someone else. I detest Bill and Hillary Clinton. They are both incredibly wealthy phonies who are just good actors when it comes to feeling anyone's pain but their own.

The Democratic Party and America can do far better than electing Hillary whose designation should really be D-Wall Street.

One to the left of the Clintons would surely be as far left as Lee - and one who thinks them not liberal enough surely didn't think Ike was liberal enough.

Do you consider the Democratic Part to be the party of JFK? Did you consider him acceptable? From what you seem to say, I can't imagine anyone being too far left for you, let alone Lee. What current Democrats do you like?

Hillary Clinton is like her husband not liberal democrats but Wall Street democrats. Clintons Secretaries of the Treasury Robert Rubin and Larry Summers both urged Clinton to sign the two bills that led directly to the housing bubble and the collapse of the big investment banks in 2008-9 The repeal of the 1933 Glass Steagall act that kept depository and investment banking separated and in 1999 and the ban on government oversight of derivatives trading in 2000. And when Obama took office he named Robert Rubin and Larry Summers to be his financial advisors.

Hillary Clinton collects large fees for speaking at Goldman Sachs dinners. Elizabeth Warren is feared by Goldman Sachs, LP Morgan Chase, and their ilk. She sits on the Senate Banking Committee and her power is growing. One of her goals is to break up the too big to jail banks and reinstate Glass Steagall that protected the American public from major banking collapses for 75 years.

Banking panics had occurred on a regular basis sconce the inception of the Nation. Five depressions the last was in the 1930's. Lee just makes a lot of noise. Warren is and will prove to be a powerful leader in the years to come. She was the state of Oklahoma debating champion in High School on an all male debate team. She is persuasive and based in facts. JFK was surely acceptable but I v**ed for Nixon in his loosing bid and for Barry Goldwater in his crushing defeat. And Nixon again in his loosing bid for Governor of California and in1968 when he won and for Ford against Jimmy Carter. But Reagan as President began my conversion. As the southeren dixecrats were jumping to the Republican party( Reagans democrats) I was waking up to the fact that the Republican party was moving further away from the ideals of Abe Lincoln and Teodore Roosevelt and that the conservative wing which had been a minor wing was becomming the dominate wing.

As far as current democrats I like first of all Elizibeth Warren. Dianne Finestine a moderate I've loved since she was a San Fransisco superviso. I like Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Jacki spear. As you can see I lean toward the ladies. When given a choice I always v**e for the lady. I just trust them more.

I like Lisa Murkowsky (R), Kay Hagan,(D) Clair Mckask**l (D), On the men side I like Ron Wyden (D) Joe ManchinD) Sherod Brown (D) Carl Levin (D). Ed Markey (D) The Republican men are just a big useless lump. I could take em or leave em. But I loath Ted Cruz (R) Jim Inholf (R) Michelle Bachman (R) and Sarah Palin (R) I at first wanted to f*** Sarah but I'm s**k of her scrfeeching .voice and here cutzy, folksy , stuff.

Perot gave the presidency to Clinton twice - meanwhile, it was you who posited Warren and Dean - and perhaps my memory isn't what it once was - could have sworn Dean made a run for the brass ring.

You have just exposed your bias and your sexism. You are probably r****t too because you are sexist. You will never have any creditability with me. However, I understand that you are under no obligation to please me but, I hope you do a better job with your husband.
