Git R Done, ya know a great comedian when you hear one! Some people just can't find humor in anything, unless it's Christian bashing or smearing those with any morals or a conscious. Go figure?

There is nothing to figure. His limited intellect has to pigeonhole anyone who disagrees with him on any particular. I could do a paper on this one, and call it "Liberal Tolerance, an Oxymoron in Practice." Or perhaps, "The Parochialism of Progressivism, How Pissants Prosper in California."

I posted this in response to someone else, but since it does seem to be a common progressive concern.........

I just don't get how a simple joke makes someone a misogynistic minority bashing conservative? If anyone could be accused of misogynism, wouldn't be the same-sex guys? Heck I've been married for nearly four decades & jokes about men (ones my wife in particular endorses) just make me laugh. Though to be fair, she doesn't find as much humor when the table is turned, but that's just her.

That is just Brian, one of our Horses asses in residence. He provides amusing, if sometimes annoying, views on a variety of subjects he has yet to think through.

Now Dutch :-D It may have been your avatar that got the negative attention. Being ex-Navy myself, I guess I'm just jealous of it, but am hiding it well...

I use the same thing on the back of my business cards and as a bumper sticker on my truck.....
I get a lot of positive comments on it!

Got it & with that heads up, ever hear this one?

Pat had been celebrating St Patrick’s Day at his local pub all day.
The bartender says, “No more drinking for you tonight, Pat.”
Pat replies, “Okay, I’ll be on my way then.”
Pat climbs off his stool and falls on his face. He pulls himself up by the stool.
He takes a step towards the door and falls on his face again.
He thinks that if he can get to the door and breathe some fresh air, he’ll be fine. He crawls to the door and sticks his head out to take a deep breath of fresh air, which makes him feel better. He takes one step onto the sidewalk and falls on his face yet again. He thinks he must be really drunk.
Pat can see his house just a few doors down, and crawls to the door and inside. He crawls upstairs to his bedroom door. He takes one step into the room and falls on his face again. He climbs into bed and falls asleep.
The next morning, his wife, brings him a cup of coffee and says, “Get up Pat. Did you have a lot to drink last night?”
Pat says, “I did. I was drunk. How did you know?”
‘The bartender called and said “You left your wheelchair at the pub.”‘

You know, if this weren't a non-political chat, I could really vent on what the Obomination Administration has done to our Armed Services. I can say that I wouldn't consider serving if I were of an age to or, endorse anybody else to any longer. Guess you'd have to have lived aboard a ship to appreciate the righteous indignation I feel about the Armed Services of today.

Can't read the very bottom of it, what does that say? Business cards and bumper sticker, being in Georgia, not sure if the "positive comments" was tongue in cheek or not. The bible-belt & the south in general, sure isn't what it use to be.

Part of my time was at the tail end of the Carter Administration, which did a pretty fair job of screwing our logistics. Lots of equipment shortages, stuff needing replacement, making do with crap. I actually v**ed for the bastard. Last Dem I ever v**ed for, except one County Commissioner. I thought a former Naval Officer would have more sense. That was before I found out he was a cousin of the Kennedys.

Brian Devil believes only Bill Maher and Stephen Colbert have any jokes to tell. He further believes unless it bashes someone not of the liberal/progressive persuasion it is not worth anything. It is preferable if it has references to bodily functions and foul language. He is the only person who is able to determine appropriate humor or almost anything else. 😖😑

I was over in Hawaii during that time and I v**ed for him too. I didn't really notice how Carter impacted the Navy, but if it were a snake back then, it would have bit me. I was in the western pacific when the N. Korean soldiers hacked up some of our solidiers over a tree trimming incident. We were going to be dispatched to perform some good ol' naval gunfire support on NK when Carter decided to try diplomacy. I really appreciated that. Other than for that one thing, I never could endorse another democrat again. Never knew he was related to the Kennedys, but wouldn't fall over to find that out.
