Current presidents generally get the credit or blame for the economy. 2017 job creation was under 2016 and the decrease in unemployment came from a reduction in the elasticity of the labor force nothing more plus GDP was at the same level of 2014 and 15 and I don't remember conservatives exclaiming how wonderful the economy was. We all know that if Obama presided over the same economy conservatives would be describing it as the worst economy in the history of all mankind and howling over the increase in debt that he was responsible for.

As for the next recession the past three recessions have been caused by over capitalization which resulted in a recession that was harder to climb out of than the previous one. You can only pump so much money into the economy before it will falter and the one certainty is that falter it will...

Interesting how most Americans had to work 3 jobs during the ovommit years just to make ends meet and the corrupt l*****t media lied about how great ovommits economic agenda was. When President Trump was elected this country was in a purposeful decline, being managed by those who instigated the downward spiral. Obama repeatedly told us this was the "new normal, and Americans should just accept it and get used to it. However, the policies that got us to this point didn't start with Obama, (though he put them into overdrive,) and it isn't possible to fix this mess in just over a year. The infiltration of collectivist ideals into society, the general debasement of out culture and the rise in power and control of ALL levels of government simply can't be fixed quickly. We are all impatient, and want this fixed NOW. The left has infected our country like a cancer, and it will take years for the remedy to work. At the very least we should be thankful that more and more Americans have awakened to the danger our country is in.

Did you even bother to read the article? If you did your comprehension sk**ls are deficient. The vast majority of the people are WORKING. Many at LOW WAGE jobs that cannot pay housing, food, child care so they CAN work, health care wich their employers does NOT provide, and t***sportation to GET to work. The others are working and earn too much to qualify for federal poverty programs but are still unable to cover their monthly expenses.

California, especially with its extremely regressive taxes (gasoline, sales, property, etc) that hit the poor and middle class hardest. Then couple that with the ridiculously high cost of housing and yes many are struggling.

But all you see is those taking advantage of the system. How do you know they are? Maybe their spouse works, who knows? Have you ever asked one of them? If they are sponging off the "system", whose fault is that?
