Rick, who was being affected by the "purposeful decline"? It damn sure wasn't the wealthy or big corporations. During obammy reign the wealthy 10% garnered 90% of the income gains and big corporations' profits soared. They amassed TRILLIONS in offshore tax evading. For the wealthy and big corporations the economy may have been "purposeful" but it damn sure wasn't in a decline. No, it didn't start with obammy, it has been that way since reagun and his trickle down bulls**t and it damn sure didn't end with obammy. Trumpy with his Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is making sure the wealthy and big corporations continue to amass bigger and bigger fortunes while the middle class, working poor and the elderly get peanuts and cuts in poverty programs.

Tell me Rick, what has the "left" done that the "right" hasn't also done? I think more and more trumpsters are going to awaken to the fact that as the sheople they are, they have had the "wool pulled over their eyes".

What has the left done that the right hasn't dome? Well for one thing they have consistently tried to deceive people into believing that liberalism/progressivism/socialism/c*******m/collectivism is workable and/or desirable in some fashion. After over 112 million people dead at the hands of their own governments enforcing these l*****t ideals, the abject failure is always put down to-"the right person didn't implement the policies"-"it wasn't implemented correctly"-"not enough money was spent or blood was spilled"

That’s right, it’s layer on layer of Bad Economic policy driven by the Misers and the FED
Every administration the Bankster Families Take turns on inserting their minions of the Secret economics tricks rolled out by the FED again and again and again.

Trump needs to remove GoldmanSachs and the others from policy shaping and the control of the Treadury and FED

And the "right" hasn't consistently deceived the sheople into believing that the free market and unfettered competition of capitalism is the only system that can work. THE US DOES NOT HAVE A CAPITALISTIC (FREE MARKET) ECONOMY. When it comes to winners and losers, big corporate lobbying and money ensures that "regulation" passed by DC for their industry works to be costly and to drive out smaller competition and them the winner. Same with any industry...health INSURANCE, big PHARMA, military industrial corporations, Wall Street banksters, big ag...

This type of corporate/government collusion ensures the wealthy 10% will continue to amass TRILLIONS more while the bottom 60% hopes they can pay their bills and eat this month. Even though he/she is still working 2-3 jobs, its somehow their own damn fault.

Nah, the right doesn't preach capitalism to the masses, while their rich donors practice a form of f*****m in the corporate/government realm. Is oppression of the masses next when those masses quit buying their bulls**t?

Ran across this:

Is the problem that people aren’t working enough? Or is it that they don’t receive a high enough wage or generous enough benefits from their employer?

Brown thinks the latter is the real problem, and wants to charge corporations a “freeloader” fee if their employees depend on government aid like food stamps.

His proposal implies that a big overarching problem in America isn’t that poor people aren’t working hard enough; it’s that their wages aren’t high enough, their jobs and hours can be unpredictable, and their employers don’t provide robust enough benefits for them to live without support.

Doesn't stand a chance against the corporate opposition. And we all know who wields the power in DC...

What do you expect? To make miracles out of these people who throughout their lives have been dependents? Many of them choose that way. Several presidents have gone by, there were more people before who you said can't afford basic needs.

To be honest, a number of times when I go Walmart, I see so many b****s and Mexicans lining up at that VI Nails Saloon where they have their 2 inches finger nails put various colors. Likewise their toe nails have similar services. That is during weekdays. Therefore how could they work when they are at the nail saloon several hours weekdays? How could they work with that 2 inches long finger nails? I see that these people enjoying luxurious lives, better than those who work and produce daily. That is why they prefer to live that way.

Do you blame president Trump for that? Obama had more of them when he was at the WH. Why didn't you say something? Were you afraid you'll be called r****t? I thought you are a brave one.

Yep, I'm white and successfully retired and a Trump supporter and a gun toting Second Amendment adherent. Muslims can leave along with the messkins and reekans and any other i*****l i*******ts.
I speak perfect English and want America to be the lone superpower.
I'm deplorable. And proud of it.

Capitalism doesn't have a 112 million body count, didn't arrest and torture people and keep the prisoners in their own country. No system is perfect, but capitalism has moved more people out of poverty and made them upwardly mobile than ANY other system. And it doesn't systematically murder it's citizens, like EVERY l*****t country has done. You asked what the left has done that the right hasn't to fundamentally damage society, and there is STILL no comparison between the two. Funny how l*****ts excuse murder, imprisonment and torture. Not ALL capitalists are greedy, but ALL l*****ts want to suborn the individual to the collective, and they ALL lie about an achievable "utopia"

If "EVERY" l*****t country systematically murders it citizens, they "excuse murder, imprisonment and torture", doesn't that seem contrary to the ideology of a "utopia"? On the one hand they murder, torture, imprison its citizens then tell them this is utopia? I don't think so. Evil is as evil does, it just depends if it falls on the right side of history. As they say, history is written by the winners and the winners get to decide who is evil.

Wasn't the capitalistic US that k**led untold numbers of Native American men, women and children and stole MILLIONS of acres of their land and then handed over to the white s***e aristocracy? Think Jackson and his war against the Creek and Cherokee.

http://www.alternet.org/culture/six-most-evil-presidents-us-history

http://wariscrime.com/new/the-13-most-evil-us-government-human-experiments/

Isn't it the capitalistic US that imprisons more of its citizens than any other country in the world? A capitalistic privately owned prison system with more prisons than anywhere on earth that lobbys for more and more stricter sentencing laws. Some 2.2 MILLION incarcerated, many for non-violent crimes like drug possession.

Isn't it the left that leads the debate against the torture of prisoners of war? Isn't it the left that screams against police brutality. Isn't it the left that promotes the welfare state that helps the poor.

The deaths caused by capitalism are usually the result of capitalist constructions, be they systemic poverty, imperialism, Atlantic and post-Atlantic s***ery, etc.

What happens when the capitalistic US slaps sanctions on another country? Who suffers? Not the elite of that country but its civilians.

Capitalism is a structure in which the rich ens***e the poor through waged work. It also k**ls people from other countries for their resources.
As Voltaire said: “The comfort of the rich depends upon an abundant supply of the poor.”

In the end I don’t see much difference with other tyrannic forms of government. At least c*******m assumes its tyranny. Capitalism feeds you the illusion of prosperity and freedom.

In the US capitalism=corporate/government collusion.

Now, tell me again, who gets to write history?
