You heard correct.it is beautiful.of the many I met and knew there even in or from Louisville only a few made it to the derby. I have a shirt from there, never made it in though and yes there are some gorgeous horses there.Home Free sounds interesting thanks kankun
I have sister that lives in the hills there and loves it.

I met a young couple up here from Kentucky. They were pretty new to the area so I took them out for dinner one night. They have some lovely stories of The Bluegrass State.
I saw Home Free in person this summer. It was a fun concert and all of them are very talented. Hope you like them Tact. : )

Excellent, then you know it's spectacular.interesting how it worked out for you.I'm glad.
have you ever been to Canada or the Pacific Northwest and / or ocean out west? I mentioned a Montreal suburb, that's all I remember ( never made it in the city ) from back then but while out west we did motor up to Vancouver ( they film a lot there) plus the city itself is just plain gorgeous and as are places in Oregon,we stopped there for awhile on the way, couple days actually going up from the San Fran area.another interesting place at the time. I wanted to come back via Montana, Dakotas but I wasn't driving and we had a budget so it didn't work out all in all the road trip was fun and a success.this was back when gas was under 50 cents?we'll never see that again.

I've never been that far west. Colorado and Wyoming is the furthest west. Never been to Canada either. Been out to the east coast tho. Vermont is beautiful. I do want to go to Bend Oregon, Racine Wisconsin, Padre Island, Ireland and Scotland just to name a few. Went to the Badlands a few years ago. Took a helicopter ride up to Mt Rushmore. It was awsome!!

be still my heart lol,it was Big Bend we stayed, since I did live in Chicago trips to Wisconsin all over were practically normal.
I heard the same about Vermont from people now living here from Connecticut and Massachusetts .furthest east coast for me was Massachusetts( helped move a buddy's girl there) and New York,Bethel to be exact.was fortunate enough to attend Woodstock in 69.
I'd love to see England,Ireland,U.K. in general.the woman I almost married has been all those places and more, heck my nephew went to Italy on a fancy scholarship( has a name drawing a blank) for a year.he speaks Italian and French with no problem( he is Italian),oh and France is another.badlands sound great and were the back drop for home free's God bless the USA I saw.
it sounds like you were blessed good fortune as well. never went on helicopter but can fly a plane and have.
this mean Oregon and Canada make your list?

I lived in Grand Rapids Mi for 20 years and flew.to Chicago a lot for business meetings, but never made it as far as Wisconsin. Which is funny cos it's not that far away. I'd like to go to the dells there and House on the Rock.
I just don't really have an inkling to go to Canada, I could see visiting Alaska tho..Ive seen pictures of Bend. Would love to rent a cabin on a lake there and go horseback riding and explore the area. : )
