Yes RAP really "sucks" I never had a talent for music but can whistle 'Dixie' and strum a 'washboard' and I love cars running or not. But then in order to please you I'll have to find one that runs. That way we can ride down the three-block main street driving my latest ride sippin medicinal compound.Smile! things are not all bad.

Loved it. You're on Pappa. Things are good. I'm off for 5 days and surrounded by family. Big Smile...If I haven't said so before. Have a Happy Turkey Day Pappa.

Last week I purchased a 'duck' for turkey day as I thought it would only be my only and myself. Now she tells me that we are going to Casa Grand to # one daughter's turkey dinner. I am a little leery about turkeys as I sold them and married a few. You can understand my feelings. Knowing my luck with I'll be served the part that went over the fence. As for your five days go I gotcha beat. I am off 24 seven every day.

What the heck. If you're off 24/7, I have to put a lot into these 5 days huh... 😁😁

Heh yep. You can’t spell “crap” without rap in it. It’s nice to find out there’s other musicians on here. I play some guitar and ran sound for a local bar band that my best friend sang for, about 30 years ago. My pandora stations vary pretty widely from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack to Celtic songs to classic rock. I couldn’t get through a day without some music somewhere.

I had music going all day while I was baking. I was in the mood for some good old rock and roll today. Kentucky Headh****rs, Molly Hatchet, Loverboy, with a little Bob Dylan thrown in for good measure. 😊😊

Wow. Kentucky Headh****rs. It’s been awhile since I found someone that had even heard of them. I do love some rockabilly and blues. You should look up a band called Junkyard and listen to the song Long Way Home. That whole album is good but that song pulls at you.

Anything by Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Lee Ann Rhimes, Alabama, Charley Daniels, Keith Whitley, Travis Tritt, Lorie Morgan, Gail Davies, Jim Reeves, Sawyer Brown, Toby Keith, George Straight and many others get my boat to floating. Thank Mississippi for Jimmy Rogers the father of country and the blues which originated in the delta.

Marty Robbins. We still have his album on LP of “gunfighter ballads.” Great album. I love Stevie Ray Vaughn and a lot of the older blues guitarists.

Yeah, you can't just pick one artist or you'll remember another one later. I'll check out some street artist on YT from time to time and find some real gems that are amazing. For guitar I like Glen Campbell, Chet Atkins of course, Roy Clark and a few classical players mostly Spanish. Music just has the ability to soothe the soul at times or fire you up. There is a video I watched once, which, had just drums in the background and have looked for the group or name of the piece for years and can't find it. Maybe you might know it... the guy is John Paul Jackson and the video is the 100 names of God. Most awesome drum music I've ever heard, sort of a battle drum music. Once you hear it you can never forget it.

I'll definitely do that. I love finding new bands to listen to. Here's one you might like. I guess you would call them classical....but rock. They're called the T***siberian Orchestra. They're awesome...

first heard the legendary Kentucky Headh****rs when they opened for B****stone Cherry. I didnt know Cherry's drummer was the son of one of the h****rs,found out later. I lived in Kentucky for 5 years after being directly hit by two of the 2004 hurricanes here in Florida. moved there in 05 not 10 miles away from the Headh****rs home also where B****stone Cherry recorded their first album.it was a good time except when a tornado came visiting shortly after moving there.
Norman Greenbaum's spirit in the sky was more than exceptional when done by the h****rs

I hear Kentucky is beautiful Tact. I'm sure they have some of the most beautiful thoroughbreds in the world. It's on my bucket list to go to the Kentucky Derby one day. Hat..mint juleps and all. lol.
I've been following a new band for a bit. They're called Home Free out of Minneapolis. They're completely occapella and one does all the drum sounds with his own voice. They're young and fun and they are excellent....
