You are talking about Dunn and yes you are right. He is also from Florida

Thanks. I didn't want to misspeak. I see from a post I somehow missed that you speak from a unique vantage point. It certainly is not the same, but when I lived in Hawaii, being very Scandanavian in complexion and having blue eyes, made me a target for locals. I only rode the bus into town once, couldn't do it a second time. When my landlord's father, who lived next door, would get sloshed, he would start screaming what he should do to all haoles and would start shooting a firearm in the air. At that point, I would leave for the day, my oldest son being just a baby at the time. Those years I lived in Hawaii provided me with a window into what it is like to experience h**e, merely for the complexion of your skin. It left a lasting mark. So, when I hear stories from either side, I take a truly long look to attempt to see where t***h lies.

there is a big movement in Hawaii to rid the islands of W****s. It is much the same on the reservation I escaped from. Predjudice has to end. It is ruining the world and it messes little kids heads up.

Well, correct me if I have my states mixed up, but the last guy (white) didn't get off. Sorry, but I can't call up his name. He tried to justify his actions, stating he was afraid for his life. He thought he was going to get off, and even laughed about it behind bars, but he didn't get off. There was an issue with the verdict, but it would appear that the wheels of justice are "beginning" to catch up.

Yes Dunn was convicted of attempted murder on the three other boys, but not the murder of Jordan Davis, the one he shot three times. Because he was afraid of their loud rap music. Give my a break!!

I would have a hard time believing he "enjoyed" k*****g that young man. I suspect he might have felt empowered by the Zimmerman decision, and let his emotions overcome him. Unquestionably, he is not enjoying the results of his actions that night.

What possesses people to simply lose control of violent thinking in their heads that they would go out and shoot someone. Did they have a violent childhood.. or did jealousy ride their shoulders... or did they lose their way via the company they kept.

I never understood why people can do the things they do. My heart tells me it's the way they were brought up... with much violence in the home from one or both parents. Even a dog would turn into a monster if treated badly from puppyhood.... the enviornment has an a lot of effect on a child's behavior from baby hood on through their teens. But when a child has such a violent childhood.. so did the parents administering it. Most of all.. it's lack of love.

Pretty sad a typical group of teenagers just doing what teenagers do were assualted so brutally. Their lives have been altered from that moment on. Jordan Davis did not deserve to die. My heart goes out to his Mom and Dad and all others who loved him. I mean really does ordering pizza after the k*****g sound like Dunn cared one bit for the lives he disrupted and the one he ended?[ [quote=ibKelly]What possesses people to simply lose control of violent thinking in their heads that they would go out and shoot someone. If it's coming out of their OWN pocket... all would be stingy... no matter what it was. It's easy to give to others w/o wanting something in return - whether it be fame or advancement. This is why I can't stand O'Reilly... he constantly brags about how much he gives to Charity... But if it were to totally come out of his SALARY in stead of what he cons his Fox buddies to go on road shows with him to advance his own 'self'... and 'hawk' his pen and pencil and jackets. etc... I assure you.. he wouldnt be so generous...He makes money off those things he sells so as to not have to give out of his salary he gets at Fox.

He was bragging last night about how much money he makes... Have you ever heard of Gates bragging how he rakes in the millions... or some of the oil barons... no... they have too much class... All Oreilly does is brag.. brag.. and takes credit for something he didnt do. He thinks he's God's send for all of man kind.

A shining example of that is Obama.. who got the Peace prize money and instead of giving to charity like he usually does.. when he was forced to give that money back.. he used 'that money' as giving to Charity- not the money above and beyond what he normally gave....... The one who is not dishonest.. is Biden... he gives little and doesnt give a rip who knows it too...and he's a very wealthy man too...
