Costs are all relative. The bush's and ronnie raygun all spent millions. Remember the costs in setting up the safety for the bush and reagan compounds? And the accommondations for the secret service and staff?

Obama merely rents the places he stays at.

"Costs are all relative, ... Bush and Reagan did it...???"

Is that your incisive come back???

Funny, I keep hearing that silly comeback over and over from l*****t dummies, ... apparently, in their shallow minds, Obama is not guilty of t***sgression, if Bush did it first.

Here is a clue, ALL PRESIDENTS work, even when they are on "vacation". Except maybe reagan, who was busy taking naps, or bush the elder when he was out sailing or fishing.
so the shrub "working" on his ranch, is nothing special, it is part of the job.
Just like when Obama shoots hoops or plays golf. He is available if needed.

When do conservatives get so defensive when sthe shrubs time out of the white hose is pointed out?

Are you ashamed of him?

Most of Bush's "vacation days" were at his ranch and he was actually just working from home. But if that were published then little liberals wouldn't have any excuse for calling us bigots and r****ts.

I don't think that conservatives have as much problem with the number of vacations, as with the fact that the lying Kenyan, and has manly wife, have spent millions upon millions of taxpayers dollars on very lavish vacations, taking everything but the kitchen sink, and everybody but the family dog's mistress, with them, .... including one whole military airplane for the family dog. All this at a time when the average taxpayer is having to cut back in his/her vacation dreams.

Your post is typical rightwing bulls**t but the one comment about a extra airplane for the dog made me laugh and laugh. Now that I'm done laughing at that ignorant comment if it isn't too much trouble how about providing a link for that?

I guess in tea bagging nutville land you believe air force one isn't big enough to hold a dog?

Bo, I'm sick and tired of your inability to spell the names of our Presidents. Here are a few correct spellings and I hope they are a help to you:
Bush, Reagan, ...

Conservativeteaparty liars rant and rage about President Obama taking a vacation.

A little fact checking reveals that shrub bush took more days, ronnie raygun took many more days, and bush the elder spent more time on vacation than any president in history.

Strange that conservatives were so quiet about the time off for those presdients.

Then again, not so strange for r****ts and bigots who are always looking for something to bash Obama about

That may be true on raw numbers but over 50 Bush vacations cost less than half the cost of the Obama vacation to Africa.

If you ask me, it's just envy, a black guy becomes successful and enjoys his wealth and somehow he stole something from them, typical r****t reaction.

It is pretty funny that a few posts after it was pointed out that "crackpot" sources were quoted by conservatives someone quotes a paper owned and run by the Moonies! And even reading the obviously biased article tells you that the dog was t***sported with support staff and equipment not on some special airplane sent especially for the dog.

The article said nothing about equipment, but it did mention "various personnel", which I'd guess included the official dog walker, the dog chef, and the dozen or so g***ming assistants to Michelle Obama, required to keep her from looking like Dennis Rodman in d**g.

We are making a big deal about p**********l time spent away from Washington. But all agree that presidents work while they are away. Regan and Bush worked more comfortably and successfully at their ranches. The 'conservative lie' article states that the sum total spent on the Bush trips to his ranch cost taxpayers $20 million. Compare that with the Obama Christmas vacations during the past two Decembers. The 2012 vacation hit an obscene $17 million, while the 2013 vacation came in at a more modest $4 million. That is a total of $21 million on two vacations, more than the sum total of the much maligned Bush vacations. I don't mind presidents going off to where they can think more clearly. What really bugs me are the 17 vacations taken by Michelle during the first four years of Obama's administration. That's four vacations per year at enormous public expense. Michelle is the first lady and she is milking it.
