Tennis is a great sport. I played for many years, before my foot got caught in an elevator shaft, and was crushed. I recovered, and went to golf, because I was close to 50 when the accident occured. I lost too much speed and mobility. I always had the pro shop string mine, when I played. I was classified as a 5.0+ player in the USTA city leagues.

I was assuming you had given up playing baseball/softball as a shortstop, thinking you were my age or older from your posts! If you are still playing shortstop at our age, you are an anamoly....and you deserve my congratulations! You would also deserve some Ben-Gay and ibupropen.

Don't let the EPA find out about that.

What about playing 'shortstop'?

I do a lot of that, myself...cutting wood. Mostlly, though, it is for my older neighbors. I only use wood in my campfires in the backyard, or while camping elsewhere, on the lake.

I find the thermostat much easier to deal with for heat.

Well I need the exercise. Plus propane is climbing. I got a top off last spring 100 gals. Cost me 1.60 a gallon. It is now 5.00 a gallon heading toward 6.00.

I just have it for backup just in case the outdoor furnace goes south. Have to admit my ball playing days are over as well as many other things. My grandpa was chopping wood at 85, lived to be 94.

I believe one of my friends who uses propane said it was about $3.50 a gal. here. I could be wrong. When I filled my motorhome, that was about what I paid, or less. That was a couple of months ago. I have an electric home.

Being 65 on April15th , I can only hope to see 94. I might, if my head isn't lopped off.
