Funny how some of us wouldn't leave home for a million dollars, then there are those of us who always yearn for something different.
My husband and I retired out of the Imperial Valley, California, after 4-5 years in Fresno, after marrying in San Francisco. I was glad to leave California because of the taxes and the hot Imperial Valley. Love the northern part of the state for its beauty.

that's an advantage I have, I am retired and don't make enough to owe income tax my only expenses are for day to day living, I was stationed at Lemore for almost four years even bought a house in Hanford and two years later they sent me to Guam so I had to sell it
