The idea is so sentimental...Love it. Makes me recall, one of the first things my child bride and I did was target shooting.. Let her use an old 16 gauge, damascus barrel and no butt pad.. First short, she went on her butt and the shotgun went north. But she hit the pop can.. She will always finish the story with that fact... Nice, you are very thoughtful dude....

No s**t Sherlock??? Ted Nugent is actually posting on OPP? Who would have "thunk" it???

Auntie is right as rain....This post started as a nice little item about a valentines gift... Now it has been diverted to apposing rants about a******n. That belongs on the main forum... I have wondered why the strongest rants come from men who have little more than a good time.. The decision belongs to the woman only and some dude who only rolled her over has no say at all... Jay, you project the fetus to be a full term child, due to legal definitions limiting how late a******ns can be done.. it is only a cluster of cells... Stop trying to run the world to your specs.... All those who don`t care for guns, give it up.. many of us do, I am liberal to the extreme, but I do the gun thing.. No I have no arsenal, nor do I hoard them for protection from the black helicopters.. I hunt, shoot and plink for amusement...so few are willing to let other live in their own style, not the one you chose....

  You do realize you are going to be thrown off of the Liberal approval list, right? According to the rules, you cannot be Liberal and own a gun. You poor dear, who oh who lead you down such an evil path. :?: :D

I am your cosmic opposite. I may be pretty far left but I don't believe in vacuuming very small children out of the womb. I'm also not into removing out-of-the-womb human beings with firearms, or lethal injection. I am pro-life in the total and complete sense of the word. Most Americans, left, right, and center are actually not in favor of "anything goes" a******ns (especially the barbaric dismembering of 3rd trimester embryos).

Regarding an embryo as just a harmless bit of protoplasm is just a selfish smokescreen for avoiding the minimal demands involved in surrendering a child to adoption. I am extremely liberal but am not blind to the photographic carnage revealed in a******n photos. Real, unshopped a******n photos cannot be considered propaganda. A******nists h**e those photos because they remind people of what is really involved. I am a former adoption worker and find that there is massive denial about the realities of such cruel and inhumane procedures. If you don't like unwanted pregnancies use birth control...not death control. If you have an unplanned pregnancy, do the decent thing, not the violent selfish thing. Surrender the child for adoption by people that will love and raise it.

What kind of l*****t am I? I'm an irreligious secular Jew. I haven't been to synagogue in years. If given a perfect choice, I would choose someone like Pope Francis for President.......a true liberal that is against ANY unnecessary taking of human life. Some of us actually can't be pigeon-holed.

I may be glib and sarcastic on this web site. I enjoy a bit of verbal jousting as much as the next guy. On this topic, however, I am anything but glib and take this issue extremely seriously. Its a very sad topic. I'm sorry it even has to exist as a subject of discussion

Three Supreme Court decisions I would like to see humanely reversed. (1)The 19th century ruling that bestowed personhood on corporations. (2) The Citizens United ruling, equating corporate e******n bribery with "free" speech...and lastly, Roe vs. Wade.

I wholeheartedly agree with your stance on a******n! I will pay more attention to your future posts to see if there are other areas that I can agree with you.

Thank you. There is actually more to me than sarcasm. I just find it to be an effective weapon when used to disarm right wing extremists who bandy about fantasies of civil i**********n.

You are welcome. It seems to me that there is a time and place for sarcasm, but never a time or place for name calling. Sarcasm can be used as a tool to get one's point across to another. Name calling only alienates and cuts short any dialogue. As I said, I will read your future posts more closely for the kinder and thinking side of your personality.

Brian Devon I am Soooo proud of your stance on this subject. I'm adopted and I am very dumb struck about your stand on all 3 issues like ducky I'll pay more attention to your side geuss this subject needs a serious posting by someone. Brian you are perfect candidate. Let some right wing nuts know your stand. The unborn are crying out for it just a thought. In time you'll know and I can't wait for the murder lovers to show their colors. God bless the defenseless

When she finally got to the end of the scavenger hunt, and found it, she thought she had a new gun. When she opened the case, you could have knocked her over with a feather!! It is the same as the onee she hunted with her brother with years ago. Right down to the engraving, and the finish on the wood. Yes she is happy, happy, happy!
I have heard her talk about her brother, and this particular item associated with him for years. I stumbled across it 6 days ago thru sheer luck. If she wants, we can test-drive it on some clay birds tomorrow. I think it was an out of the park grand slam!!
Have I mentioned that I'm kinda fond of that ol gal? If not...its because I'm........
