That depends if you're talking about true Conservatives, or Republican politicians. The majority of the "Republicans" in Congress are what I call CINO's (Conservatives in name only). The CINO's and the Socialists Democrats are all beholding to their big campaign donors first, and us citizens second if at all. The majority of the Republican citizens are true Conservatives and feel that the Republican Party no longer represents them. As the Democrat Party has been taken over by the Socialists, the Republican Party has been taken over by lawyer politicians who treat the citizens as people who only have to be placated once in a while but never truly represented.

One thing you can be sure of is that a******n will always be on the slate regardless of whether there are any or not. Both parties use shiny objects to entice v**ers but you have to wonder how many a******ns are performed on republican women. The libs may be right on this issue as education seems to be bringing the number down. I would hope so as both dems and pubs find it distasteful.
