As I am not personally acquainted with all Republicans in America, I feel it is fair to answer that question yes and no. How could anyone answer otherwise?

Part of morality, for me, is treating others with respect, as our Founding Documents suggest as the basis of freedom, and patriotism working with all citizens of various beliefs, loyal to "we the people," in striving to maintain the peace, protect our liberties, and provide a healthy economy and society for growth.

It is essential for genocide or oppression to work that a certain group all be painted with the same broad brush of h**eful characteristics, making them "outside" or "other than," basically unpatriotic and immoral. Their humanness must be diminished. This has happened all too often throughout history, the most notorious being the Jews in N**i Germany. Is this what we want for America? By our Founding Documents, it is both immoral and unpatriotic to promote this generalized h**e for entire group of people.

How would someone who tells young people asking questions about joining the military that "unless you're q***r, don't go there" know anything about patriotism or morality?

How would someone who paints the entire military as "q***r" because the military, after long turning a blind eye to it, actually recognizes what has been for decades-people who have sex differently that heterosexuals.

Thou does't protest way too much.

And you're back to the old anal thing. Again.

I feel the d******eness in America has reached critical mass and those who continue with the h**e, no matter what the political affiliation, are immoral and unpatriotic: they would rather vent their spleen, feeling glorious superior, than doing the hard and often unrewarding task of working together on solutions. It is a disgrace. We have turned into a nation of Whiners. Not all, of course, but that behavior seems to dominate political discourse and even everyday conversations. The Number One problem in America is d******eness and anything else is way down the line--and won't get fixed or improved without we the people becoming dedicated again the ultimate well-being of our country, not committed to undermining our bicameral system with obstructionism and obfuscation.

Exactly what the mega rich love. Divide and conquer. If you own the government and the airwaves you can throw out all sorts of false rumors and lies. The regular people are concerned with their daily loss of jobs, dignity and the ability to provide for themselves and families. If the heritage foundation tells you it's Obamas fault then it surely must be. Right? Our devisiveness and our weakness is exploited by the media on a daily basis while our politicians never disappoint us as to their crookedness and depravity. Everyone thought they were getting a fair shake from Christie but t***h be told the Sandy folks are being held hostage to his whims. This is a very corrupt system and we spur it on.

It sounds to me like that is how you paint conservatives and people who think Fox News is right.

Jay-are, this is deflection. Where do you see that in what I wrote? I did not start a thread that said Republicans are unpatriotic and immoral. I never go after people, no matter what side; I challenge the ideas and facts presented. From the day I got here to the present I have been subject to vituperate comments without ever striking back personally or generally. We need to focus on--and open to--the issues and cease denigrating each other.

On other topics, you have repeatedly put down Fox News and people who watch Fox News. Don't try that innocent routine, or I will dig through all your posts and repeat every time you accused Fox New of lying.

That is an absolute falsehood that I put down people who watch Fox News: never! and feel to dig as deep and furious as you want to find a single instance. But I will take this as merely confusing me with someone else or the fact that you lump all you disagree with together with a tidy bow of disdain.

Accusing Fox News of a false report? Most definitely, and proving reliable sources as evidence. Like I said, I challenge ideas and facts, by whomever. That is not a put down; that is debate.

Poll after poll after poll has shown that people who listen exculsively to fox "news" are the least informed of all televison news viewers.

The believe President Obama was born in Kenya and not the US, something that has been proven false. The believe the George W. Bush had evidence tying al Queda to Saddam Hussian, something that is patently untrue. And the list goes on and on-Fox "news viewers are uniformed because fox lies.

I saw Bill O'Reilly tell an Iraqi war veteran to "shut up" repeatedly because the kid wasn't going along with Billo's line of bulls**t. I've seen Billo threatened to punch out a kid whose father died on 9-11-2001 because the kid opposed the War in Iraq.

I've seen Chris Wallace purposely ignore Ron Paul in favor of a chance to hear something about Sarah Palin, a fox employee. I've seen Wallace and other Fox anchors ignore Paul's placing in the 1021 primaries, acting if the man didn't exist despite second and third place showings (while Wallace was touting forth, fifth and six place showings.)

I've seen one of the female anchors lie about poll figures and then say "well who listens to polls anyway.

Lie after lie after lie. That's fox "news" Motto: "throw all the mud you can and see what sticks." They are nothing but the propaganda wing for the Republican Party.
