The NC coast up from New Bern through VA Beach has a great climate, but a minor flaw. It is occasionally hit with a hurricane. But even Richmond has had that. Then too, on the other side of the beaches there's a fricking ocean with several kinds of sharks patrolling offshore. When it rains, it really rains, as in inches. Of course, at spring break, the viewing is great, but it is all for the youth. Darn it!
