Reasons I Am No Longer A Republican

I was a Republican for years and served on the city committee, delegate to state conventions, etc. I am now registered as unaffiliated. Here are some of the reasons.

1. Everytime there was a conflict with Democrats it is the GOP that caves and compromises.
2. They run pathetic, wimpy campaigns. McCain and Romney ran two of the worse Presidential campaigns ever. The recent governor's race in NC should have been an easy win, but the campaign was a disaster. The 2020 Congressional campaigns gave nothing for which the people to vote.
3. The GOP suffers from extreme poor leadership. It is beyond me how the current GOP chair has kept her job and McConnell should have been gone years ago.
4. There is no unity in the GOP because it tolerates too many RINOS.Give it to Democrats to always be unified.
5. The GOP is intimidated by the MSM and never realizes that it is never going to give them good publicity so they need to do what is right.
6. The GOP does not define the uncompromising principles on which it stands.
7. Just electing someone who calls themselves a Republican is not enough, if you cannot depend upon them when things get tight.
8. The lesser of two evils is still evil.
I could probably add more, but this gives an idea of why I am no longer a Republican

The current crop of Democrat-Communists are anti-American traitors. The Republicans aren't too much better...they are spineless/self-serving opportunists. I don't think the Democrat-Communists can go back...they've capitulated entirely to the left. The Republicans are close to being stuck with their spineless/self-serving ways as well. Not much courage/honor in either party.

I say we have two major parties. One has no principles and one has no backbone.

I reckon that you are a bit confused, the Republican Party (voters) left the GOP/RINOs IN 2016.

It will take some time to weed them out of the party completely, but it is a "Work in Progess".

Democrats/Communist have actively and purposely infiltrated everything, including the Republican party.. It has been going on for a long time.

Case in point: 42 years ago, I ran for the Wi. State Assembly against a well entrenched and well funded incumbent Democrat. With little money, but lot's of friends, I came within one point of winning. When the local press asked me if I would run again, I said yes. In less than a month, several of my very worst enemies had joined the Republican party. Did the Republicans learn anything from that? Nope. Not a thing.

I den-up from 12/1 til 3/1 the rest of the year usually isn't bad (Subject to Change Without Notice though)

The worst Blizzard I've ever driven through was (appropriately) on April Fools Day,

visibility was measured in feet, with 6 inches of snow and 4 foot drifts!

Liberty, I agree with you on all your reasons from 1 to 8, why you have lost confidence on the Republican party. Those you've written are mostly my frustrations as well, and I been reminding the GOP Senate, and the House leadership about these problems.

Our country is very dark right now. crimes are all over dominating the cities.

So who is your candidate now? Not Kennedy I hope, or you'll be heading for the worst! The Marxist-Democrats are worst. We are losing this country fast.

It is not only Donald Trump being relentlessly prosecuted and abused by the Marxist, but all of us, WE the people who belong to the right. Our constitutional rights have been decimated. Marxist-Democrats assisted by the Deep State is rapidly taking this country away from us. Our rights and freedom are taken away from us.

Notice that despite all the massive crimes the Leftists have done to the country and the people, they are all free. As if they are perfect. From Barack, Hillary, the Biden crime family, that bitch Pelosi, are all free still yelling and lying to the people. Weaponizing all the government agencies from the FBIs, CIAs, and the DOJ, in cooperations with the MSMs are their strongest tools.

The Republicans even in Congress just talk and talk, but it needs action and results. The GOP Senate is a liability right now. And I have been suggesting replacing McConnel. I think McConnel and Romney are both traitors. Why do they keep him? McConnell has been useless and hindrance to achieve what needs to be done.

The GOP needs leadership! With my frustrations however, I still can't abandon my Republican party, and Donald Trump. I hope you do the same, please! We are losing our country, and I think, with our support, it is only Donald Trump who could save her. Why I trust Trump? He has been tested since 2016, but he never quits, despite of all the horrible crimes done against him. He loves this country, and still don't give up. May God bless Him.

All I do right now with my frustrations, I have been emailing Congress to produce something. I pray to God, please save us!! We must return to God!
