I've been a political junkie for sixty years and I have never seen a President as misinformed and dishonest as Trump. His inaugural address was grade A nonsense. He has little or no class. Compare him to JFK or any of our former Presidents, really gold faucets, don't a gentleman make. If you don't view him as the lyingest President ever, you haven't been paying attention all those 'decades'.
Charter schools are intended to weaken public education. So is the lowering of funding for public colleges and universities. Republicans only want those who can afford it to get educated. Similar to the plantation owners forbidding the teaching of reading to the slaves. Same for the large land owners is south and central america. It's not by accident that Cuba is 100% literate.
The three things are all Republican intended results.
Seoul has a population of twenty million people who are easily reachable by NK's short range missiles and artillery which is why nobody has attacked or will attack NK.
Before starting a war with North Korea shouldn't Trump wait until he has rebuilt the armed services that were hollowed out and tremendously weakened by Obama.
Taking out Assad or Kim Jong Un is a recipe for chaos.
Obama got Osama Bin Larden. He was tough enough.
I think religion and not oil is the primary source of the Syrian turmoil.
I'm still not convinced Assad did. I read that Assad and his people are Alawites and if the Shiites prevail they will be wiped out. I don't see this factor being part of many commentaries. I do remember that few mentioned the Shia/Sunni conflict before the invasion of Iraq.
This squish will be long gone when the South Korean are dieing by the millions.
In my view there doesn't seem to be a believable answer to either of those questions.
If you're not liberal you are not American. The US is the most liberal country in the world and hopefully it will stay that way.
Please don't ever again reply to a post I make. You're an idiot. The point stupid is that reality moved both men to make the same decision as it is doing to Trump in real life,i.e. NATO is not obsolete any more. Remember if you are not liberal you are not American. America is the most liberal country in the world let's keep it that way.
There is a great deal of similarity between Trump's recent actions and the actions of the character played by Alex Guiness in the movie "Tunes of Glory". Guinness's role was of a subordinate officer who was critical of everything his superior did and tried to impede all his orders. Well the superior officer died and the Guiness character was promoted to the vacant position. Shortly thereafter the Guiness character was issuing the same orders as the deceased superior did. You can figure out the reason yourself.
Who has time to put together a reply as long as Steve700's?
