The Leftists/Liberals/Democrats are attempting to force the American democracy to murder itself. One method is to compel you to become more and more dependent on government, so that instead of you controlling your life, and government, government is now controlling you and your life.

Another method is to separate Americans into two classes: those who think they know more than you (media, think tanks, university professors, politicos), and those who believe that they do. You have lost control of your own life, because you have become dependent on someone else's "knowledge".

A third method is to miseducate the young. Keeping the electorate dumbed down gives the Left and the Leftist-leaning government (in their minds) the moral responsibility to take care of them. Again, you have given up control of your lives.

The continuation of this trend would show that no, the people are NOT able to wield the power of the sword, and of the purse, over themselves. Someone else has to do it.

My view of his meaning is that conservative ideals weed out the weak while the strong prosper; Darwinism. It seems heartless, but nature demands that the weak die. Ovomit denies how conservative ideals produces and healthier society; more vigorous and self sustaining.

I say this and think of the Beatitudes of Christ: Matthew 5 - blessed are the weak, the meek, the poor in spirit. I think Ovomit thinks he has a clue about what he thinks Christ really was, or he just fancies himself as another Christ. Let's find him a cross!

He didn't "mean" anything. He just said it because he is anti-conservative, and thus anti-freedom. He also said "Republicans don't have the right values for America." But never mentioned one American value. He is a Communist. He said it thinking it would help establish communism in America.

He doesn't have the kind of man that can grasp capitalism. It was useless to argue with him. In fact, he thought I was immoral because I was a capitalist.

The thought has occurred to me, nwtk, it is not Trump the Leftist/Liberals are after. It is a conservative, capitalist and free America. No matter what conservative had won---though Trump is the only Republican that could have won---the Left would be trying to verbally "assassinate" him.
