Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

These next three short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1. We are advised to NOT judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we ARE encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.


2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.


3. We are cutting benefits for our veterans, pay raises for our military, charging soldiers for their meals while serving in the Middle East and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

Looks like there are many stories about voter ID fraud that are just stories without foundation or merit.

Whenever a candidate loses, the easiest explanation is "voter fraud". Case in point, the republican primary in Mississippi, Cochran, the incumbent beat McDaniel, the tea party challenger. So McDaniel cries "voter fraud" and wants to overturn the election. Watch for similar events in Kansas and Michigan republican primary results.

You need to check your ballistics, or purchase a chronograph. Factory ballistics are obtained by firing from a 10" closed barrel under ideal conditions, with absolutely no gas leakage. A 230 grain round will chrono out at around 850-900 fps under these conditions. I use hot loaded 220 grain HPs, which chrono at slightly over 1000 fps (5 shot average ). Normally, this muzzle velocity is obtained by using 185 grain bullets. A 230 that chronos at higher mv with this weight of bullet out of a 4.5 " barrel such as my Glock produces unacceptable pressures, at least for more than occasional use.
By contrast, a .44 magnum, with a 240 grain bullet, fired from a 4.5" barrel, produces around 1175 fps MV, with extremely heavy recoil and muzzle flash.
A 220 grain bullet that produces 1000 fps out of a 4.5" barrel with acceptable recoil is quite hot. I take it you have never been in a firefight with a handgun. Fast recovery for subsequent shots after the first one are vital. Try a realistic drill. Exercise until you are winded. This will sort of simulate an adrenaline rush. Immediately draw and fire as fast as you can at a torso sized target at a realistic range, like 10-15 paces. Remember, the target is shooting back. You are scared and shaky. You may not hit that first shot.
I mean no disrespect, but reality and theory don't always agree. Your opponent may not be very cooperative. He may not stand still and not shoot back. Training should be based on speed, and getting at least 2 or 3 rounds into the vital area as quickly as possible under various conditions. You are not going to shoot a 2" group at 25 meters in real life. Bear in mind, you will probably not be shooting from a classic Weaver stance, either.

I will attempt to respond to your post in a tactful and respectful manner, even if I strongly disagree with what you attempted to post. That said, I assume by TP, you are referring to the Tea Party group. The TEA PARTY group is found within the Republican Party and insist on a return to law governed by our Constitution. You do remember the US Constitution: Since 1865, the elites in our country have purposefully spent time, energy, money and political capital to form a very powerful centralized form of government located in Washington, DC. Our elected Representatives and Senators, on both sides of the aisle, have not represented the interest of their constituents but placed more importance on party affiliation. Many conservatives have grown weary of both parties departing from the laws established under our Constitution and have become militant. The TP, as you choose to call them, believe in reducing the size of our Government, believe in reducing the dollars spent by our Government, and believe in returning to the basis of law established by the US Constitution.

Your claim of the TP being racist is not accurate. You will need to explain that statement. The term racist has been used so often and used in so many contexts, that it has lost all meaning. This term is presently and ultimately used to halt a conversation when a liberal has no other rebuttal. The TP people have intellect, common sense and feel very passionately about about the future of our country.

1) When an elected POTUS seals every document surrounding his past and places those documents in an INTERPOL vault located within the DOJ, does that meet the definition of being transparent? The same POTUS has spent over $2 million dollars to keep those documents out of the public eye. Again, does that not raise questions in your mind?
2) When 2500 US weapons are hand walked across the US border into Mexico and the BATF was instrumental in establishing the "straw" purchases of the weapons, I do not think that was coincidence. It was done deliberately, it was done with an agenda and a US Border Patrol Agent was killed as a result of this incident! The POTUS refused to disclose all documents surrounding this incident and declared Executive Privilege against this disclosure. The US Federal Court of Appeals just ruled that Executive Privilege did not cover these documents and ordered the DOJ to disclose all documents involved with this case. The US Attorney General was found in contempt of Congress for his refusal to fully disclose all documents. Is this a conspiracy or is it based on the cover up actions of this Administration?
3) Benghazi? IRS? BLM on the Bundy ranch? Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf? EPA actions against coal? Shovel ready projects? EPA declaring control on all latorial waters within the US? ADM & Monsanto GMD seeds? Refusal to approve the Keystone XL pipeline? No oil / natural gas drilling on Government controlled lands?
