One fine day our good friend Bob (who is Bad) grew tired of teasing conservatives and decided to take a walk in the park...

Deciding to trust in his long lasting and mutually respectful friendship with Archie our friend Bob squated down and reached out to stroke the mighty beast's head...

Upon contact the Pitchihuahua leaped up and fastened its razor-sharp fangs on Bob's throat...
A desperate struggle took place... Progressive cis-gender white male against nature's equalizer...

Utilizing all of his skills ( honed from years of posting tastefully humorous memes ) Bob managed to disengage himself from the merciless demon dog ( which promptly took off in search of the nearest 'safe space' to find a second course)...

Dusting himself off, and muttering astring of colorful emojis, our friend Bob approached Archie...

I must admit, I have all to do, to not descend into hatred of people like Andrew Cuomo for his signing this Reproductive Rights Bill into law, and those supposedly Catholic politicians, who support barbarities like abortion. As a practicing (I admit I’ve never gotten it right, like all, I continue to be a sinner) Catholic, I believe that these people should be excommunicated. I am ashamed to have to admit that this has happened in the city and state of my birth, New York.

I understand that there is a movement among lay Catholics to have him & his ilk excommunicated. Does anyone know whom I can contact to join in this effort?

My daughter is a "non-citizen" and is still registered to vote in the state of Texas even though we have repeatedly tried to get her taken off the voter rolls. A "non-citizen" is simply a once Texas citizen who has moved out of state. That the state doesn't take them off the voter rolls is the states fault--unless you are suggesting that the Republicans in Texas are committing voter fraud in order to win elections? Is that your accusation?

If it is your contention that the purpose of a life is to satisfy the needs of the greater society then you have defined the role of a drone. Your subject title makes that assertion and the body of your post does little other than to attempt to justify the title.

My comprehension is not the problem. The problem rests in the premise of your posting, i.e., that either usefulness or happiness should be the focus of purpose in living things.

LIFE is the purpose of life. That encompasses all that is. Life is not one dimensional nor is it so in any living thing. Why on Earth would anyone suggest, much less argue, that a one dimensional purpose of being is a meaningful existence.
