Wow! You don't get it.

In the Affordable Care Act of 2010 there was no congressional order that forced the insurance companies to cancel policies. Department of Health and Human Services was to write regulations for grandfathering health insurance plans under the ACA. These regulations force insurance companies to cancel most of their policies in "free" states. Obama could have demanded Kathleen Sibelius change DHHS regulations to allow more insurance policies grandfathered status. He didn't.

President Obama didn't lie at the time. How could he know how things would unfold? But he'd rather be thought a liar, than change those regulations.
Wow! You don't get it. br br In the Affordable C... (show quote)

I think that is wrong. Someone knew what was in that bill. They either told him and he ignored it or they didn't and he didn't ask. Either way he is the President and it is his responsibility to know. I find it hard to believe that he didn't unless he didn't read it. And if he didn't, he should have.

The law itself demanded those policy's be canceled. They knew that there were minimum requirements to the policies. And if they knew that they knew there would be cancellations.

Well said! Speaking from the point of view of someone who at one time lost his freedom for a considerable period of time, but was able to regain a place in society with little help from the government; Freedom is precious and can only be bought with blood in this fallen world. We must hang on to it at all cost. If we aren't willing to pay the price now by assuming responsibility for our own lives, someone later will have to pay for it with blood...again!

I have come to believe, that some who lean to the left have come to take our freedoms for granted. As long as no one is coming to them and making them do things against their will, and forcing them to give up their rights, they won't say a word until it happens. They don't equate a law as taking away their rights until someone is knocking on their door.

I think their are degrees at which we will go through to reach that point. If we wait till they are at our door then we are beaten, before we have a chance to fight. Better to go out screaming and kicking, than to lay down and give up.

There's nothing in the ACA law that requires insurers to cancel a plan but there should've been something there to prevent them from it. Insurers got the last laugh, knowing they could get away with it by blaming him. He knew that politically, it was better to take the blame than try to explain what happened. It's not like he secretly conspired with staff to bypass congress or trump up WMD.

There are minimum requirements on plans. Those requirements have to be met or the plan could not be sold. So If you had a plan that did not cover prenatal care, regardless of age or sex. You got canceled. There are other things that were required in it also.

Maybe I'm wrong, but failure to uphold the oath he swore to uphold the Constitution and the lies he's told, wouldn't that be grounds for impeachment?

Yes it would. Unlikely that will happen tho. The House could impeach but the Senate would have to convict him. At the present I don't think that will happen.

Think there might be a chance on that. If the democrats that voted for ObamaCare take Obama and Harry's rule away not giving them enough votes to pass much of anything something will have to change. These democrats want a chance to hold their seats.

It is my hope that they take Obama, Reid and Pelosi,(there are more) put them in straight jackets and rubber rooms.

I have had two NDEs, one at seven and the other at eighteen. Though for a long time I took these as personal proof of life after death, it no longer matters. These experiences no longer matter not that Science has discovered areas of the brain that when stimulated appear to mimic an NDE and thus may call into question their nature, no, for these simulations always fail to produce the profound psychic changes many have after having died and been revived. They no longer matter because I no longer need proof, or even reassurance, for that matter.

No one get out of here alive. Death is inevitable for all and can come at any time. Birth i the beginning of the steady march to death.

They are talking about the "death panels" on the news. It is on the main stream media. Ahhh, I hope they keep going with this all year long.

I would rather see them repeal it all together. It is not a good plan and is only going to hurt the majority of People.

Not prejudiced toward conservatives, just saddened by their lack of intelligence!

When you have to call them names and insult isn't that the same thing.

If I am saddened by someone then I don't call them name's. They have a god given right to feel however they want to feel, to have any idea they like, to do what ever they choose to do, within the law.

I am not too sure you understand what intelligence is. You don't show a lot in your post.

You seem to think your superior and anyone that don't think they way you do is stupid. The Nazi's were along those lines. Intelligent people think things through and make a decision. You spew what ever it is that you favor and don't consider the other side. That don't sound to intelligent to me.
