RETW, Lets not forget that Churchill was a conservative. Conservatism, liberalism, and socialism have somewhat different meanings in the UK than they do here. I think that when the super wealthy get the lions share of the benefits of a tax deduction, while the middle and working classes get a few crumbs that fall off the table onto the floor, something is wrong. Today CEOs average three hundred times the compensation of the people that actually work for the corporation. Thats over a two hundred percent rise since World War Two. To me, that kind of says who is really greedy in our society. I guess there was a need for words!

No there isn't. It doesn't make a bit of difference if Churchill was a fairy prince or a snowball.
The fact remains he was correct.

Welcome to Zimbabwe
While from afar Zimbabwe's plight doesn't paint a rosy picture, the reality is different on the ground for tourists – most insist it's hands down one of the safest, friendliest and most spectacular countries in Africa.

(1) Isn't it weird that in America, our flag and our culture offend so many people, but our benefits and entitlements don't?
(2) How can the federal government ask U.S. taxpaying citizens to pay back student loans when illegal aliens are receiving a free education?
(3) Only in America are legal citizens labeled "racists" and "Nazis," but illegal aliens are called "Dreamers."
(4) Liberals say, "If confiscating all guns saves just one life, it's worth it." Well, then, if deporting illegals who are convicted felons saves just one life, wouldn't that be worth it?
(5) I can't quite figure out how you can proudly wave the flag of another country, but consider it punishment to be sent back there.
(6) The Constitution: It doesn't need to be rewritten, it needs to be reread and followed.
(7) William F. Buckley said: "Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other points of view, and are then shocked and offended when they discover there are other points of view."
(8) Joseph Sobran said: "'Need' now means wanting someone else's money. 'Greed' means wanting to keep your own. 'Compassion' is when a politician arranges the transfer."
(9) Florida has recorded 119 hurricanes since 1850, but some people still insist the last one was due to climate change.

I went fishing this morning, but after a short time, I ran out of worms.
Then I saw a cottonmouth with a frog in its mouth.
Frogs are good for bait.
Knowing the snake couldn't bite me with the frog in its mouth, I grabbed it right behind the head, took the frog and put it in my bait bucket.
Now the dilemma was how to release the snake
without getting bit. So, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a little whiskey in its mouth. Its eyes rolled back, and it went limp.
I released the snake back into the lake without
Incident and carried on fishing, using the frog.
Not long after, I felt a nudge on my foot. It was that damn snake, with two more frogs.
Life is good.
