According to this Newsbusters headline:

PolitiFact Slams Rick Scott as 'False' for Citing Actual Green New Deal Document

On February 25, PolitiFact flagged Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) as “False” for writing in an Orlando Sentinel op-ed that the Green New Deal has a goal of “ending air travel.”

And the truth? From the document, in plain black and white:

“We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast.”

But that doesn't deter the activists at Politifact, who declare "We rate this statement False".

You just can't make this stuff up.

"Investigators believe that the perpetrator might be part of a terrorist organization/narco-gang..."

https://dailystormer.name/another-maga-hat-crime-reported-wave-of-hat-crime-gripping-america/

Frightening, isn't it?

It gets better:

"This week brings three stories of three white Americans being assaulted by three nonwhites—one of whom has overstayed her visa since frickin’ 1994—whose primitive reptile brains were triggered at the site of the red “MAGA” cap like a retarded bull is driven into a meaningless rage by a matador’s cape."

How's that for race-baiting?

No, really!
According to Russia’s Federation Council (upper house) Speaker Valentina Matviyenko:

"Russia is absolutely against any external meddling the affairs of sovereign independent states"

She went on:

“We are absolutely sure that the crisis, which was artificially created by the US in Venezuela, can be solved only by peaceful means and only in the framework of the inclusive dialogue of all political forces and the Venezuela people have the right to decide on its present and its future”

The tsarizm.com headline reads:
Russia Declares It ‘Will Prevent’ U.S. Invasion Of Venezuela

But that's not what she said!

Decide for yourself.

The only legal entities with what might be personal responsibility for slavery in the United States of America that still exist are the Federal government and the several states that allowed slavery. These are the only "living" persons who might be liable for reparations. Not you, so don't worry yourself.

I'm a little confused. Can you help me with this? You say that the Federal and State governments might be liable for reparations because they are the only 'living' persons that allowed slavery. Can you please point one out? Can you give me a name or some other indication of who exactly you are referring to?

I'm asking because the civil war officially ended on August 20, 1866, and I'm using that date as the official end of slavery in the US, regardless of whether it was State or Federal laws keeping it going. Now, considering the time between then and now, and adding 21 years to account for adulthood, a person in government would have to be at least 172 years old to be held accountable for an action (or lack thereof) that took place in 1866.

As far as I know, and I might be slightly off here, but it it is my understanding that nobody has ever lived even close to that long in the history of the world. Living 100 years is a newsworthy exception, so someone living to the ripe (and I do mean ripe) old age of 172 would be at least a scientific curiosity.

In fantasyland?

In a way, it does seem like a fantasy, or even a dream, looking at the way it's changed. There was a time when things were affordable, when you could leave your door unlocked at night, even leave the keys in the ignition. Not any more. The dream has, in many ways, become a nightmare.

I've read the reports, just like I imagine most people have. I made that comment because the post was harping on about the first amendment, that's all.

So according to Twitter, Sharia law in Pakistan trumps our First Amendment rights here in America.

I must have slept through a Constitutional convention or something....

Something you're all missing. Twitter is not a government entity and is not bound to 'allow' or 'ban' anything based on the Constitution. They're simply not bound by it, so yeah, 'first amendment' yourself 'til you're red in the face, it won't make one iota of difference.

Mr Trump said: "He tells me he didn't know about it, and I will take him at his word."

It is unreasonable to expect a head of state to be informed of every detail of what's happening in the country. Kim says he didn't know this was happening, and President trump says he finds that a reasonable response. I don't have a problem with either of those statements. What I do have a problem with is those who unfailingly take a report like this and try to twist it into something it isn't. That's a problem. He didn't defend him, he simply reported Kim's response and added that he finds it credible.

In 1978 I paid $210 per semester at a state university and perhaps $100 a semester if I bought all my books new. My 2 bedroom house rented for $125 a month and a part-time job working in a restaurant paid for all of that.

What's changed is that we've had three Republican tax cuts, cuts to education from state and federal governments, and minimum wage increases that are 5 percent below 1978 levels. Now the question is why haven't all those tax cuts trickled down as promised by supply-side economics? Strange don't you think?

Poll: Majority of Americans Favor a Border Wall over a Green New Deal

http://republicbroadcasting.org/news/poll-majority-of-americans-favor-a-border-wall-over-a-green-new-deal/

A majority of Americans would rather have a wall sealing America’s southern border than the Green New Deal, according to a poll released on Wednesday.
Fifty-one percent of Americans say that they would rather have a border wall on America’s southern border, compared to 31 percent who say that they want a Green New Deal, according to a poll released by Remington Research Group.

Republicans said that they would prefer a border wall by a 68-point margin, while Independents said that they would prefer a border wall by a two-to-one margin.

Overall, a majority of Americans, or 51 percent, said they oppose a Green New Deal, 51 percent of Democrats support the radical environmental program, while Republicans and Independents overwhelmingly oppose Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) idea outright.

Titus Bond, president of Remington Research Group, said Democrats face an uphill battle trying to convince Republicans and Independents to back the Green New Deal while still trying to appeal to their base. Bond said:

The Green New Deal has presented an interesting situation for Democrats. Democratic voters support this legislation, while the rest of the country overwhelmingly opposes it. It will be intriguing to watch Democratic leaders and presidential hopefuls navigate this issue with their base while still appealing to mainstream voters.

The Remington survey found that Americans overwhelmingly oppose a single-payer, federal government healthcare system.

The survey arises as one study conducted by the American Action Forum (AAF) revealed that Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal might cost as much as $93 trillion over the next ten years, which would cost over four times the national debt. Breitbart News also found that the Green New Deal would pay for over 3,700 border walls.

“The Green New Deal is clearly very expensive,” AAF said in its report. “It’s further expansion of the federal government’s role in some of the most basic decisions of daily life, however, would likely have a more lasting and damaging impact than its enormous price tag.”

There are three kinds of lies:
Lies.
Damn lies.
Statistics.

If the pollsters had asked about the preference between the wall and a million dollars, would the outcome have been somewhat different? Don't trust polls, just do what's right and let the polls lie to someone else.
