Don't worry this isn't McCarthy here and most of you are anonymous on this site anyway. I've just been hearing so much about you lately but it's all coming from your freedom-loving opponents. I know there aren't a lot of liberals here but you've ALL been accused. So, why don't you stand up and say something?

You see, every communist movement I have so far read about features a very pronounced loyalty to the ideas that define communism. So I don't understand why the American communist movement is so... quiet.

Can anyone explain this?

There are some that don't know what they are because they don't even understand that all of these are separate ideology. It appears you don't. You are in luck; I can explain it. The answer is, the American communist movement is quiet because it is dead. It is no more. It is a failed system and no one wants it. The answer to your question is that simple.

We use the words, Marxist, socialist, and communist not in their historic and philosophical contexts and meanings, but as nasty things you can call people who may think differently from us.

The problem with calling someone these names is supposed to label you as knowledgeable and those who may believe differently form you as duped, lacking in knowledge or evil. I have found that people who mindlessly hurl these words at "those others," have no idea what those words mean, their historical and philosophical context nor do they understand why these systems sound great, but have all failed in real life. For those who understand these systems, they are no threat simply because they have been tried and haven't worked and there is no reason to believe they would work if anyone wanted to try them again.

The people who are the most true believing Christians usually have not read the Bible and the true believers in the belief that these political/economic systems are a threat, have no idea what they mean, their historical context and why they have all failed miserably when they were tried.

So far this experiment has gone precisely the way I thought it would. Not one single Marxist. Just a bunch of excited conservatives jumping on and pointing fingers at others.

Once again... There has not been a single instance of a covert Marxist revolution in history. By it's very nature Marxism is a proletarian movement that requires a massive uprising to overthrow the establishment, especially one such as ours. If there was a Marxist threat in this country it would be obvious and we would see Marxists answering my challenge.

The Liberal Marxist threat is a conspiracy theory that satisfies your need to blame others for our problems and it's distracting you from the real causes. The few American Marxists there are in this country are no closer to taking over the country than are the American Nazis.
