The argument is what is ridiculous. These people don't seem to understand the US oil/gas transportation infrastructure is massive. It is under their feet every where they go and they don't seem to realize it. Thinking energy just magically arrives for their use is unbelievable and thinking that a 100 rail road (Buffet) is a better system is even more insane.
It's sorta like an interstate but with no traffic, putting it in would be nosy but it would be no worse than a sidewalk.

Would you want something like this across you land? I wouldn't, and I wouldn't want it across my neighbor's land because it could contaminate my land.
Not really, this administration has had lots of time and it's become nothing but a game in my mind. The longer they wait the higher the costs go and that's not good for anyone.

Thanks for the input Taz. Do you think the delay is for the benefit of incumbents facing reelection?
I would imagine Warren or whomever has interest in the rails will be making that boatload of cash.

Is it really "American Farmers and Ranchers" or is it Warren Buffitt, who makes quite bit from rail transit of oil?

Energy & getting that energy to those that use it is an issue.
I don't know of any one who is giving up on lighting & heating their homes. Have you seen less cars & trucks on the roads?
I keep the heat turned down & I don't drive a lot of extra miles but I do want my energy there when I want it
.
My daughter & son in-law just bought a place with a pipe line running through it. If you were not told you would never know.

Have you research why the people in Canada rejected this pipeline being built across their country and why many in this country where they want to build don't want it either?
Not to hard to figure out, that is if one paid any attention in geography class in school...it's the terrain stupid. Also, American ports, Like Houston, already have the infrastructure (refineries and oil storage) to handle oil shipping. And, contrary to what libtards like Kevyn say, not all of the oil will go to the Chinese (note the correct spelling, Kevyn). We still import 10 million gallons of oil a day from foreign sources, this pipeline would help to reduce that amount of imports. And, it will create jobs...oh, I forgot, you libtards don't care about creating jobs, that's why you voted for Obozo.
OS I think you have to use simple, basic images if you want him to understand. Here... let me help.
The Canadians can pipe Their oil across Canadian land we should not take the risk for the profit of a foriegn country.

Keystone, a great way for the Canadians to sell oil to the Chinease.
They're ecological excuses are ridiculous since we are lighting up the sky brighter than Chicago lights from space flaring off nat gas in the Bakken.
Id have more respect for them if they just came out and said the reason was Buffet bribes and that way the stupid could quit chaining themselves to the WH fence.

Canada has leased the tar sand lands to China and Koch... the two who will profit from the XL the most, while America is taking all the long term risk for very little short term gain, Canada and Buffet still get paid either way, Koch is still getting product just not as fast to accommodate China's needs....Koch has been making up the difference in profits by charging more for refined product here.... Bend over America...Koch wins either way

 Look at all the fuel we are saving by people not driving to work.
Yep and our elected officials reep the benefit from the United Plutocracy of America. Anyone expecting them to do anything about is must also think that "if I have cancer and can get more cancer it will kill the cancer that is there"

Good for them. The US could have gone quite well if only they had someone with brains or would simply get out of the way but no.
