You say "...let me ask you this since you brought it up.", and then you proceed to answer your own question.

What part of his argument, "How many people did starve to death? How many people have leftist governments murdered in the streets? How many leftists are now passing fecal matter on the demonrat run big city streets? Millions and millions you ignor"anus." is wrong?

China and Russia were Republics? Who besides their own leaders considered them as such? Just because they used the word "Republic' in their country's name. The United Nations is anything but united.

"We are not safe from an overthrow, if the laws of our constitution are not enforced,..." We had eight years of fundamentally changing the United States and an attempted coup by the deep state Democrats to unseat a legitimately elected president. Who tried to overthrow the Constitution?

The Senate doesn't initiate impeachment proceedings so how is it that they are corrupt? The House has a Democratic majority. That is where the heart of corruption lies regarding impeachment; on the left. Just because you call Trump a corrupt fascist dictator doesn't make it so.

Being the so-called blind fool that I am, I don't see where you are going with this.

I answered because being from the right, I figured you didn't know and wouldn't bother, so in this case, yes, I did it for you, you can thank me later

I'm not answering those questions because they are not the right question. My attempt to have him or you understand where you went wrong and failed, you didn't grasp what I was saying.

It is not about leftist governments, it's about who's in charge. I can guarantee you if I were to research that question, all of them would be from some kind of dictatorship/ supreme authority. It's not about the government when it is run by a ruler, whether it's a republic, democracy or any other form if it is run supremely and not by the people, their laws and their government.

Oh goody, are you getting philosophical on me, what fun!

Yes, I agree change is inevitable, so then how do "you" define progress?
You don't think progress is inevitable also? If that were true we wouldn't be where we are today.

Everything changes, it is the one constant you can count on. However, not every change is progress (advancement, development, betterment, achievement, improvement).

You want a definition of progress when you should ask yourself what inevitable means.

Well Duh!!! That is what leftism always results in. Those who were in charge were leftists. Did you go through at least middle school? That is why it IS about leftism.

So what is the correct question if you don't mind saying? I told you up front that I didn't grasp what your meaning is. That was the primary question I asked you to explain. You must not know or you would have answered. It was a simple question and you couldn't answer.

No need to leave for the usual city life. All enclosed.

The street part of the complex can only be entered through a limited and tightly guarded checkpoints with armed security personnel and hi-tech security. The lower five floors facade provides no access but acts as defensive high ground from attack. Five feet of reinforced concrete. Essentially, a return to the atavistic Fiefdom, subject to whatever rule of the owners. His or her largess.

This is what the continued fear and hate spread by the Right will produce, or something like it. Teachers, theater ushers, circus clowns, fast food workers, and crossing guards armed to the teeth. Check points at the entry to anywhere, like church and yoga classes. More guns, more guns, more guns.

Sorry, just blowing off some steam. But truly hate where we seem to be headed with the Right so adamantly against real gun control. It is beyond reason and decency and an assault on we the people.

Real gun control is to keep guns out of the hands of those who use or will use them immorally or illegally.

Rumi,
Please explain. You can cross a state line to buy whiskey. You cannot cross a state line to buy a gun. You can pay for the gun & have it shipped to a registered gun store in your state for a fee. You have to pass background check where you paid for gun & again where you pick it up. If you found a gun on sale in IN for $100.00 less than you could buy it in IL, by the time you got it, you would have paid at least $50.00 more than you could have bought it for in IL.

PR is talking about gun possession laws in Chicago & she is right, they are strict, but Chicago is run by
Leftist/Liberals who do not want to stop the killings so they have an ongoing gun control forum. I used to have to work in Chicago Heights, don’t try to convince me more gun control laws will make any difference. I put up 12’ fences w/ razor wire on top & still had people trying to run through the fence in stolen cars & trucks to steal equipment.

You best read up on various state laws about gun purchases. What you described in your first paragraph is how the whole nation should work. It doesn't!

When the next Republican takes over, you will look back at Trump as a good guy. That next Republican will be the worst President we ever had. Every Republican always is. Nationalism is America first, not last like under Obama.

It is very easy to say the right is against gun control. But be more specific.

Tell me how you see the right being against gun control. In what way? What is your definition of gun control? What type of gun control regulations would you propose?

Federally mandated background checks for all purchases of guns, with a minimum of 2 weeks waiting period. A Federal agency, properly funded and staffed, to process these purchases and maintain records on those considered a threat, the dangerously mentally ill and domestic abusers. Also tracking those on the no-fly list as suspected terrorists. No assault rifles and magazines over 10 rounds. Strict training in the use and proper storage of a firearm, so that 4 kids a day are not killed. The stats: Nearly 1300 children die and 5790 are treated for gunshot wounds each year. The South is the biggest offender.

Morgan, you have a little problem with cause and effect. Not a surprise, it's a typical leftist malady. It's been said, on very good authority, that they don't have a homeless problem, they have a drug problem. You may want to reflect on that a bit and think about how California, for instance, has been enabling that problem - not trying to get at the root of it. Don't you think it's about time we called it what it really is instead of dancing around with PC and ignoring the real problems out there.
