That's quite a jump, Morgan, from Loving one's Country to being a Nationalist and on to the Nazi regime. Even worse, it's saying that because the Nazi regime allegedly loved their country, that means the people in the US who love their Country are the equivalent to Nazi's. Maybe that's not what you're trying to say but that's the way I read it. I do appreciate the "slippery slope" argument in most cases. If you look closely at today's politics, you will find that the Democrats are the ones who more closely track with the beliefs of the Nazi's(National Socialists), they just aren't quite there yet. Bernie Sanders and AOC, et al, have just slapped a "Democratic" in front of "Socialist" and they are good to go. I'm hoping that most people will see through that ploy and reject this nefarious attempt to get a toe-hold for Communism.

They may have higher wages, but that usually coincides with a higher expense for living, not to mention very high property tax, but they still have the burden of supporting a greater percentage of people on assistance, which means they know how to balance their budget.

The first budget Trump approved had us overspending and in the red, not a good move, some things should have been pushed off until we could afford it and not dig a deeper hole in debt.

As for the first budget Trump approved it had many Democratic provisions in the bill President Trump disproved of, but signed it just to get the budget approved. If he wouldn't have approved that bill the Dems would have just approved another such bill knowing that Trump wouldn't sign it and then proclaim Trump didn't want to help the American people. So your party is complicit with that bill signing. Your first paragraph shows your inability to accept the facts that those Democratic controlled cities have far more problems with homelessness and drug addiction. Which they have thrown money at it but have failed to help the situation.

[quote=Morgan]I agree it is Congress but we're still under Trump and his regime and can't get anything done once again under Senate obstruction. There is no longer reason and compromise in our Congress. That's a crisis in of itself but people don't see it that way.

So much to respond to and so little time. Let me respond to your first paragraph.

Some see it as a crisis and others see it like the wheels of democracy working slowly to prevent emotional knee-jerk reactions to everything. As I stated earlier change is inevitable and progress is not. Change and progress are not equivalent. Our system was established so that the House is the people's representatives. Things move quicker there. Representatives are elected every two years. We have a Senate which represents the States where Senators are elected every six years with one-third of the Senate elected every two years. Ask yourself why this is? The Senate was supposed to be the most deliberative body, to act as a balance against factions and emotions that lead to quick decisions that result from a rush to judgment. Unfortunately, this system has been tinkered with by the Progressives and their passage of the 17th Amendment making Senators less accountable to their State because they are elected by popular vote. A progressive idea that clearly was not progress. Crisis? I don't see it that way. Nevertheless, we decide how quickly or slowly we want things to occur. We do this through the ballot box. If the Democrats want Trump out of office they will have their chance in 2020. It is Trump's regime if you don't agree with his policies, and it is Trump's Administration if you accept him as the legitimately elected president.

Just point out where there has been any such obstruction by the Senate. They have, as of March 16th this year, received only one bill for the Senate to consider. So where iis all of this obstruction you have pointed out to us. I believe you have let the progressives blind you with false propaganda.

Here’s a good over view of what was going on 2017/2018 to at least June..

The 115th Congress was flying by, and it can be hard enough to keep track of what Congress did last week, let alone two months ago. To make things easier, we've compiled links to each week's schedule and an overview of what happened for you below...

https://www.countable.us/articles/367-115th-congress-done-far

As for the 116th Congress I think they have put through a few bi partisan bills but on the major issues none.. The straight dem mentality in wants without compromise is obvious and therefore sit unresolved if not just dying out before the 2020 elections..

It is very easy to say the right is against gun control. But be more specific.

Tell me how you see the right being against gun control. In what way? What is your definition of gun control? What type of gun control regulations would you propose?

AS far as I been able to tell the conservatives or republicans are pro and a great many dems also you have to show how or where that statement comes from
