Now his long-winded but futile tit for tat of a juvenile, articles " don't call Protestants Christians".
Instead of answering scriptures.
A rational mind doesn't continue posting Catholic articles to prove itself. A rational mind refers to God's word.

John 6:44
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

Many are called but few are chosen.

We know when we are seeking the truth of God sincerely in our hearts, God speaks to our heart to what is true. You freeded from the Catholic church and me from the Mormon church, we wanted the truth in our heart, we both were sincere.
I think there has to be a condition of the heart to see the truth revealed to us by the Holy Spirit.
When Jesus said "I stand at the door and knock" we know not everyone opens the door.
What stops them from opening the door? I believe there are things going on in the hearts that go deeper than digging their heels into Catholic doctrine, refusing the truth of God's word. Pride, lust, making themselves God's above others, hardened hearts, reprobate minds, haughty, ect, ect.
To continue on in the face of dozens of hard facts and biblical warnings, Biblical truths defending with shut ears, closed eyes to the prompting of the spirit that awakens souls seeking truth. There is a point that God gives followers in cults over to the seducing spirits, doctrine of demons in full oppression. The irrational return replies, vitriol hate and anger, even rage expressed in name calling, insults, wishing souls to hell, even death threats that would be willing to commit if possible are strong indicators of demonic strongholds but we can only leave it up to God that sees the hearts condition beyond our ability, to God that judges and places judgement. We can only be guided by God's word, continue defending the word of God, and giving the message of good news, the gospel of salvation according to the word of God.

God Bless

I agree! Jesus practiced tough love! He gives us many chances, but when he gives us that last chance, He’s done! That’s why we must never continue to tell Him no! It may have been the last chance.

We each have the responsibility to control our anger and our vicious tongues. We are blessed with a mind, conscience, and will. The Holy Spirit can advise or council or proad us, but we have the final say, I think ! This is just my opinion! I’m not a theologian! My Daddy taught us to be responsible for our actions! He was adamant! He was the most gentle man I’ve ever known and my greatest teacher, and the toughest cowboy!!! I learned to love and depend on Jesus by him!

You and Rose are living proof of being responsible and using the mind that you were blessed with. You answered

Jesus when he called! I have learned so much from all of my brothers and sisters on this forum, both in humility and knowledge! Heck! I otta get a college credit for all this reading research! :

He did tell me "May you gain entrance into hell" several times but he won't explain that remark. It does say a lot about how hard he's fighting being convicted.

I think he says a lot of things right off the top of his head, without really giving much thought to it. Maybe that’s why he really can’t answer some questions!!

I’m sure you know what you’re talking about! You’ve been there, I haven’t! I just really get tired of his attempt to bully and be a smart aster! I wonder if he gets away with acting like that in real life without getting his head handed to him tied up in a big red bow?

TexaCan, yes we are responsible for controlling our anger and vicious tongues but there is absolutely NO WAY we can do it in our own power. We must have a change of heart. And the only way that can happen is through the power of the Holy Spirit. But remember that even though we have that power if we "tap into it," we still have a sinful nature and can stumble. If and when that happens, then we need to confess our sin and ask Jesus' forgiveness, which he gave for all our sins, past, present, and future by what he did for us on the cross. Also remember, when we become saved, we are "good to go" positionally but practically we will be working out our salvation "with fear and trembling" until we're redeemed.

I really doubt he acts the anywhere else. This medium has many limitations and it can't replace face to face conversations. People get frustrated and often say things they normally wouldn't. Look at the political forum. That can get a bit crazy!

I agree! Ephesians 1:4 It all goes hand in hand! Actually, I have read many scriptures on this and I can quite easily get to going in my own little circle! The Holy Spirit is our guide at all times! He’s our guide, not our boss! By that I mean that we don’t always listen and take His advice. We are always a sinner, as long as we are breathing! That’s why our Lord had to die for our sins! Right! And that’s why we acknowledge when we know we sinned and ask for forgiveness! And I ask for continual guidance and to not give up on me! I hate it when I know I disappoint Him!

Would you please explain your last sentence. I don’t know if I might disagree or if I don’t understand completely!
🙏🏻 Thank you!

Yes it does! And very entertaining! I have to admit, the men’s fights are a whole lot more fun than women’s on the main OPP page!

Think of it as we are saved and we are being saved. When we become saved, positionally,we are saved is the best way I can think of it (we're "good to go"). But practically, as Paul said, we
still have to "run the race." This night explain it better.

https://www.gotquestions.org/run-the-race-set-before-us.html

Our pastor has used this analogy. In baseball a walk off homer wins the game as soon it's hit. Game over...we win. However, the batter must still run the bases and touch home plate to make it official.

I hope this helps.

I get it! It’s like me saying that I don’t want to disappoint Him! I want to run a good race!
In other words, just because we’re saved doesn’t mean we should just sit down on cruise control, we put it in gear and go trolling!

Thank you for explaining that. I had never heard that put just like that!

I had no idea about that. But no one can go in their temples either can they?. A Mormon relative got married but since his parents weren't Mormons they couldn't go into the temple for the ceremony.

No they could not go in for the wedding, because they had to have sex at the alter...... And they weren't alone

That's funny but it does seem like a credit for learning would be acceptable.. 🙂

I too have learned so much, my brothers and sisters have brought forth scripture I hadn't even thought of.

As testamony to the teachings of the Holy Spirit, we share the same understandings, interpretation of God's word, having never met before or discussed or beliefs. Something that should make Doc110, Radiance3, and padremike, question their anti non catholic we only share particles of the truth lie told by their church.

God Bless
