Quite the contrary. I pay into insurance but do not use it. And, I object to the government wasting my money. Surely, the FICA tax collecting 15% of my paycheck during my lifetime of work, with never investing a penny of it back into the economy, spending it frivolously, virtually peeing my money down a rat-hole, is as irresponsible a theft as an Al Capone bank robbery. Join Citizens Against Government Waste and see where our tax money is going! You, too, might turn into a radical republican reptile, running down the street like a Wildman.

Repeal and Replace Obamacare just passed the House, 217 yeas votes to 213 nays. There must have been 5 abstentions.
Now we must get 51% in the Senate.

Do you really think the Senate is going to accept that $8 billion dollar bailout of the Insurance companies servicing Medicaid?
Probably yes, for it is cheaper than putting the entire public on the Public Option. Let's see how this plays out.

Hey, Mr. Goofus, I didn't make reference to GEICO, you did! I'm glad you are rich enough to support others, I am not. In fact, keeping myself off of welfare is the greatest contribution I can make to society right now. And besides, you are probably far more beautiful than I am, cheers. It's a come as you are party, right?

I don't mind sharing, even if I can do small favors for my neighbor. We probably agree on things like that. Where we really differ is how we view the government. You trust them, I don't. We must come from very different backgrounds.

PS Abe Lincoln was a Republican, and GW Bush provided greater home ownership and business ownership for minorities than all other presidential administrations combined. He also changed the patent expiration timeline rights on pharmaceuticals so to allow the generic industry to thrive and produce that $10,000 AZT at a price of a bottle of aspirin. Bush next shipped billions of dollars of AZT to Africa stave off death and starvation. Anybody recall that?

I referenced GEICO slow boy because they say "that's what you do" and that is the same as saying it is someone's Modus Operandi or M.O.
No it is not about being rich. I understand the taxes people pay do a lot of things for me I couldn't do with only my income so I believe in doing the same for others because I am a giver as well as a taker. I am not a model or prostitute so my looks have nothing to do with my pay...my educational level does and since I'm not an ass kissing toadie brother, the resultant knowledge gained is the thing. I guess that is the least he could do since Africans built the country for free. All the home ownership went down the tubes during W's recession and go and research how it was harder on people of color in terms of wealth lost and employment opportunities. I'm not jumping up and down for joy over nothing W did, for me or you....BTW...sarcasm s a feminine trait.....rudeness is masculine......

Progressive One you write: "All the home ownership went down the tubes during W's recession and go and research how it was harder on people of color in terms of wealth lost and employment opportunities."

Yes, the housing market crashed in 2008, but Bush knew it was coming and tried to stop it. The big private banks were a very small part of the fraud going down, but the Federal Housing Authority Bank, Fannie and Freddie were money laundering trillions of dollars of dope annually through the housing market. Baby Bush attempted 17 times to reign in Fannie and Freddie, but the Democrat lead Congress refused all his reforms.

HUD, also under the FHA, is a basket case. In fact, President Obama virtually took over 90% of all the private mortgage business and put it under the FHA, which Sec. of HUD, Ben Carson has just audited and discovered $520 billion dollars in "accounting errors." I hope you own all of your house, Mr. Progressive!

Fact check: Ben Carson didn’t find HUD accounting errors

The bottom line: The OIG, not Carson, was responsible for the audit that led to the correction of over $500 billion in bookkeeping errors by HUD during the Obama administration. Carson wasn’t in office when OIG initiated the audit and the secretary has no authority over the independent IG office.

President Trump nominated Carson, a former neurosurgeon and Republican presidential candidate, to serve as HUD secretary in December [2016], but the Senate did not confirm Carson to the post until March 2 [2017] — one day after the OIG published an updated report providing the total value of the errors.

Progressive One, the title of the report you cite is very misleading, since the demand to produce that audit was put on the table By the Trump administration in 2017. Did you actually read this article? These guys are really mincing words here. Either Trump or Carson or both demanded that OIG audit of HUD be completed, and pronto! The problem is that the Obama administration was as corrupt and incompetent as all get out!

The audit was ordered by the Inspector General in 2015, but was not completed until March 1st, 2017. Why? Read the article further:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/04/19/fact-check-ben-carson-didnt-find-hud-accounting-errors/100647342/

"HUD OIG, March 1: "On November 15, 2016, we issued an independent auditor’s report stating that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) was unable to provide final fiscal years 2016 and 2015 consolidated financial statements and accompanying notes in a timeframe that would allow us to obtain sufficient, appropriate evidence to determine whether they were free from material misstatement."

"We also reported on the delays encountered in the material weakness, Weak Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting Led to Errors and Delays in the Preparation of Financial Statements and Notes."

"Despite having to disclaim on HUD’s fiscal years 2016 and 2015 financial statements and notes, we continued our review of the financial statements. Our review identified material errors and misstatements in the financial statements and notes. The results of that review are contained in this report (see Material Weaknesses section) and update the material weakness, Weak Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting Led to Errors and Delays in the Preparation of Financial Statements and Notes, reported in Office of Inspector General (OIG) audit reports 2017-FO-0003 and 2017-FO-0004."

Now, Progressive One, what was the real purpose of Chuck Schumer stonewalling the confirmation of Doc Ben Carson to one day after the HUD Inspector General produced that report? Give credit where credit is due, baby.

PS. The American Health Care Act passed the House last week and is now in the hands of the Senate. Accordingly, the MSM reported 24 million people are being deprived of health insurance; but contrary, these 24 million people are anticipated to quit their current expensive insurance company and seek a better, more affordable provider. Welcome to the dishonest BS by the Main Stream Media in its incessant, lying hype and scare tactics.

Do your homework, Progressive One. You are confoosed about who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. I say this in all honesty and concern for you.
