America Only, please be a gentleman on my forum that I posted in hopes of a decent debate amongst civilized citizens.
I find it very troubling that the main stream media is misconstruing this American Healthcare Act, which now, because of Michigan Representative Upton, has added an additional $8 billion dollars to the already federal funded preexisting condition pool. Nevertheless, the MSM is insisting that the Republicans are throwing these people into the streets.

Could we please stick to the debate? please, please, please?

CR-these are the usual left wing scare tactics and, unfortunately, some people swallow their BS line, hook and
sinker. The new HC plan will not survive unless it does the job for everyone. The Senate is well aware that the
GOP will own whatever comes out of conference and is approved by both houses. The House plan is merely a
starting point and I expect a total revision before its all over. The GOP must ensure that the promises made to
the citizenry are kept. If not, they will be history in short order. Upton had a legitimate objection and those need to be resolved. Looks like the GOP senate and House are now working together to come up with a bill that will actually do the job. This is not an easy task and we need to back-off and allow them to do their work. It would,
however, be refreshing if the Senate were to forego their recess and remain on the job until this gets done. Since actions speak louder than words, I believe that going home and talking to constituents is not nearly as important as is getting the job done for those constituents. America First !!!
