Perhaps you're not aware that you can check your spelling on the internet. Just access the internet and spell out the word any way you can. It will give you choices. But then, this is difficult for those who are lazy. Someone "knowing what you meant" is no excuse for laziness.

well, I have tried to get a dictionary onto my computer. I did not succeed. if you think that I am lazy because I do not understand this gadget and don't know how to use one more than I do, well that's a mistake on your part.

HI Jeff: I suggest that you have two browser programs on you puter. I have ie & firefox. While you are in one browser and you want to look up a word open the other browser and type in the word. You can have both open at the same time and switch between them easily. If you have any questions feel fee to PM me.
