There is NO progress when you socialists are in charge. Example: the past eight years!

If no progress was made why are you guys so eager to undo what Obama did?

Because it's COLD!

2. One lightening strike can (and has) cause a wildfire that will put out more smoke than I could in many lifetimes of burning wood in my stove.
That's what nature does.

3. One building fire caused by an electrical problem puts out many times the toxins into the atmosphere than my woodstove ever could think about. With the electricity coming from an evil fossil fuel, or nuclear power plant.

4. Does burning wood in my stove deprive the electricity cartel of some revenue? It does!

I like my woodstove, and will burn wood in it until the planet warms back up!

Dammit! I had a link that I received earlier about some greenie whining about wood burning stoves. I guess I fat-fingered something, and lost it!

Upward of 96% of all forest fires are started by lightning. This is essential for the regeneration of forests. The Southern Pine NEEDS a fire to start its seeds.

Because it was anti-progress!!!!!! Thousands of business busting regulations for just one! 70,000 more business failures than start-ups under Obama, a record....thanks to thousands of new government regulations and Obamacare. Trump will get rid of those business busting regulations, open up more oil drilling, and coal mines....getting people back to work and get this economy back to real GDP numbers above Obama's dismal 1-2% GDPs.

Hello archie, The reason behind the ban on wood-burning appliances was to enrich the power companies. Their lobbyist paid huge amounts to govt. officials to make it happen.

More power to you, It is an example of freedom. Since you have warmed the air in the house, it is a shame to use it for combustion. If you could arrange a source of combustion air from outside, you would even better off. (My 97% efficient furnace does take air from outside.

And the ashes can be used on the garden!
Also money saved by not having to go to gym for exercise!

Solace in the winter.
Cause for soldiers to hinder, where it is warm.
Every Inn, and chimney beckons.
Indian lessons need to be reckoned.
Soldiers warm, and babies born.
All our families belong.

Recycle that Deadwood into energy.
It has no other purpose.

You quote Sinclair Lewis.
A brilliant author.
How does that support your comment?

I read some where that Seattle made it illegal to use barrels to capture rain water. Why you ask(I knew you would ) because that water belong to the water company and you are depriving them of their rightful money and just so your aware Obama has stated that COWS poop, fart and belches are causing climate change due to all the methane they produce so I guess we're going put a cork in it and ranchers and farmers are told to feed them something that doesn't produce so much flatulence. So they will probably feed them something that will kill all of us But it will save the environment. Now don't you feel better.I know I dont.
