They can and do get a doctors prescription where it is legal. Tell your bullshit know nothing about marijuana other than what you have been brainwashed with to the mother of a 3 month old that has seizures that last 2-4 hours and at age 3 was having 300 seizures a week and the doctors had her on seven drugs -- some of them heavy-duty, addictive ones such as barbiturates and benzodiazepines, that did NOT work. Then they heard about a strain of marijuana high in CBD. IT STOPPED HER SEIZURES. You want to deny that life saver to children and adults.

As to a gateway drug, THAT is BULLSHIT! I know people that have been using marijuana for 40 years. They are have jobs, raised families and are productive citizens.

I don't know where they smell it at, I just know they do there in CO, because they talk about the smell all the time, and they don't like it. I know one thing you can smell it on a weed smokers clothes. They also don't like what it is doing to the state, and a lot of their friends and neighbors. My daughter-in-law's parents (divorced) live in different areas of CO, and they both bring up the subject of how bad it is and how much damage it is doing to the state, every time they come out to visit. I also know a Forest Ranger LEO in CO, and he has hundreds of stories of the damage it does to the people he has to deal with.

Yeah, you're right about those federal laws, my wife's brother spent some time in jail in CO because he thought he could bring in a bag of weed from CA. Best thing that happened to him, because his probation requires periodic testing and it allowed him to get off the stuff...he is more like a human being now. He says he will never go back to it. When he was on it, he was a totally different person, I couldn't stand to be around him....now, he is pleasant to be around. That is just one of several I personally know who got hooked on that stuff and it ruined their marriages, jobs, etc. Like I've said, I know several friends and relatives who have totally screwed up their lives smoking weed...I even lost two cousins who died prematurely smoking that crap. So, don't try and tell me it is beneficial.

God created marijuana, he looked on his creation and saw that it was good. Marijuana is harmless, and much more so than alcohol. Prohibition didn't work, and it was repealed. The crime associated with an illegal drug is not because of the drug itself. It is because of the illicit sale of the drug, demand, and expense. If marijuana was legalized, regulated, and taxed, it would be a tremendous source of revenue. Instead, our prisons are clogged with drug offenders. It costs multiple millions to keep someone in prison. When the Messiah comes, he will legalize marijuana.
