Perhaps they were moved. Saddam was after all expecting an invasion. You do know that he threw the UN IAEA agent out of the country when he didn't want him getting too close.

Saddam Was a CIA asset when he gassed his own people. Our government looked the other way then. But the time came when he was expendable. It has happened many times to US installed dictators.

It was speculated that he moved stockpiles to Syria. That could only have happened if he didn't have much. The WMD facilities that they found (and they looked really-really hard) apparently didn't show any evidence of recent stockpiling of weaponized Chem or Bio or Nuke agents. I doubt the Bush admin would have kept it a secret if they had found anything.
