Read Luke 21:20-26 Does this seem up to date? We have reached the point of distress among nations with perplexity. That means we will reach a point where there are no answers or a way out of the mess man has made. Only God has the knowledge and power to get us out of the mess the world is in.

Luke seems appropriate. I wish I believed in God and that he/she could magically make humanity's problems go away. We certainly have made a mess of things. I fear the death toll will be beyond our understanding. Perhaps we'll get a second chance, but I doubt it. I think we are witnessing the beginning of the end for mankind. Perhaps some other creature will get a chance to survive with success. The chimpanzee or the dolphin.

Politicians ARE cockroaches aren't they? Can you imagine a world peopled by politicians? Debate/dirty trick/debate/dirty trick. Maybe a world of just mammals, reptiles, insects and fish. Back to the Stone age. Deer the size of elk, lions the size of Kodiak bears. Brook trout the size of King salmon. Would that be cool? But I dearly hope man can survive himself. Would love to travel to the stars. I'm a science fiction fan.

YEP!

So true. American's have as many idols as India but don't realize it. Anything, Anything or person that is more important in our lives than God is an idol.

I'd like to think some of us will get the chance to travel to the stars but I have some doubts. People don't take very good care of natural resources. They may starve to death before we can construct infrastructure and vehicles to travel in space. We also need a lot of work in space medicine. I think it will take a couple hundred years if space travel is to happen at all and we will need FTL (Faster Than Light) drive if we are to explore much space.

I wish you believed too. Last nights events in Las Vegas proves how quickly lives can be ended or altered. Rom. 5:8 says, While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We are all only one heartbeat away from our eternal destiny.
