I can find no argument with you on your post here. The fall of man affected not only mankind but all of creation. It seems that the disasters are happening with greater frequency and devastion. The country is more divided than I have ever experienced and I am 74 yrs. old.

IMHO, something of great magnitude is on the horizon.

I agree with your IMHO and I am 63. The world has begun to fall. Too many predicted failures and actual failures in our country's and the world's infrastructure for my comfort. Our young are becoming more ignorant and we lack scientists. We have too many people who are not willing to work for what they need to survive, or become successful. They do not plan for retirement and live in relative discomfort. Industry and the arts are failing. My only hope is that we don't suffer another world war in my lifetime and yours. Yes, something of great magnitude is indeed on the horizon and I can only hope it does not involve our untimely deaths. This hope may seem a bit selfish, but I am selfish when it applies to my life and my friends' lives. I have learned that through experience.

My brother is constantly saying he is glad to be 61
and will likely be dead before the words ruptures
into chaos and bullshit. I give it a decade and

I live a good life and will hang on to it as long as I can. History is a good teacher and I an apt pupil. It's either a world war or anarchy in the future as best as I can make out. I've taken steps to provide for my extended family. I don't have a wife or children to protect. I see a whopper of a financial crisis rolling our way and food riots to follow as currency becomes tinder for fire in 50 gallon cans on street corners. I've tried to be prepared as I can but I'm not a fanatic. No solar panels or large buried containers of water with a pump. I won't give in, either.

Someone has said if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail. I have a stock of food that is kinda old plus we have a few acres that I could live off the land for a while. I don't know if those of a liberal bent have the courage to engage in fighting a prolonged conflict. They seem to have to be fired up by agitators. when they start getting injured or killed on a large scale their liberal opinions may not seem as dear. The only thing that is going bring civility back to our nation is a change of mind and heart. Ideologies are not stopped by weapons of warfare; killing someone with a rabid mindset only enrages more. We need to return to a culture of a "WE" society rather than an "ME" society.

I agree very much. Riots and battles won't solve a damn thing. People shooting at me will tend to get my armed attention. I'd rather palaver and find a way out of the messes we've gotten ourselves into. The blame game won't work. It only leads to violence. I can't think of a way to get out of the building fiasco in the United States. I hope we have better minds than mine working on the problem. The only way out of the hash we've made of things that I can see is a military takeover and I DON'T want that!
