Condensation didn't start 10 years ago.
Yes, old photos and old movies' contrails were added or enhanced for visual effect. So were explosions and crashes, but that doesn't mean we didn't have explosions and crashes until 10 years ago.

The airliner trails we see today weren't here 15 years ago. That indicates something has been changed in the make-up of those trails. Something has been added.

I witnessed contrails at least 50 years ago. As children we often marveled at them. Speculating where they were going, and imagining we were on the airplane, perhaps as a pilot.
When I was in the military well over 20 years ago I had opportunity to witness them daily as a part of my duties.
If you didn't see them, it sux to be you.
