Two words explain why he has (as of yet) not been impeached.
Admissible evidence.
How long did it take Nixon to be forced to resign after Watergate and the cover up? Years!
Back then the public was insulted with him. Now the public mostly does not care. Just give us our free stuff and we are fat, lazy, apathetic and happy.
Have you seen 100,000 college students marching? They did in the 70's!
Folks don't whine if you aren't willing to get active!

If you really want to impeach someone how about the foot dragging, obstructionist, whiney, we wuz robbed, self victimizing wounded boys club that passes for todays GOP. The voices of reason and moderation in the Conservative movement have been drowned out by this cacophony of sore losers. Whiner-in-Chief : Mitch McConnell of Kentucky (whose sole purpose in life was to make sure Obama was a one term President. Look how well that turned out.) History has shown us that "I hate Obama" is not a viable political platform and will not address unemployment, immigration or Camp Run-a-muck train wrecks like an unregulated Wall Street. Nor is "I hate Obamacare"

"We" kimo sabe? You were there right? The war of Independence pitted in many cases family member against family member just like in the Civil War.
Colonists did not drive out a an invading country. At that time most colonists
were of English Irish or Scots heritage. It was a lovely little family row.
I fail to see the comparison with todays political situation. This kind of wild-eyed rant is what is keeping the right in the political wilderness. (usurper, traitors, indeed....)

It may not turn out to be viable in it's present form but perhaps you can direct me to a "viable" alternative? Some Republicans have pointed out that their party has failed to provide an answer to ACA and that it is hurting them in the polls. Too bad they have been silenced by the screaming ranting sackcloth ripping ashes mob on the far right.
