Yes The NRA has OVER 5 million paying ADULT members! And in that there is over 300 million privately owned firearms in private ownership (they havn't been falling all over themselves to "Donate" their only means of self protection, to Obama's thugs) those people get representation also! The Anti gunner wackos have an agenda, communism requires that the Public be UNARMED! Communism is SO WONDERFUL that they need a WALL to keep out ALL of the world's people from trying to "ENTER????" And it's so wonderful that THEY need the KGB to keep the people from celebrating themselves to death! It's so wonderful, that Putin said Obama is a fool, "We proved communism does not work!" But......the liberal left (READ COMMUNISTS) still want to foist communism on US! BUT FIRST THEY MUST TAKE AWAY THE GUNS! Now!! Just WHO wants to enslave all of us??? Just look at the ones who want our guns! They identify themselves! We will remember those people!

I've seen advertisements put out by the NRA and they are NOT directed toward responsible programs. No child should be handling a gun - any type - under the age of 12. Yet, I've seen photos depicting children under the age of 5 being trained. The NRA has spent inredible quantities of money, epecially after the multi-death producing outbreaks we've had.

I maintain that if people do not have a gun, they won't use it.

The government is not directed to removing all guns from those who have them. Primarily it is against multi-action rifles that have no place in a normal society.

I definitely can see the need for a rifle for hunting - BUT NOT SQUIRRELS! And answer me, "Who has need of military weaponry besides the military?

To repeat, "Your comment is asinine." If you will note, I did not state that YOU were asinine. I refuse to call names in any correspondence. That is accomplished sufficiently by people who can only come up with asinine comments.

Also, I never attacked anyone or anything viciously.

Exactly how do you know "children under the age of 5" are being trained? If they are, you may be assured it is with parental permission, and, if by the NRA, a fully licensed instructor. I literally know a 9 and 11 year who have been through six hours of training. Their land mass is quite large and has an abundance of wild foxes. They are fully trained in safety and usage of their rifles for protection.

Exactly what "military weapons" do citizens have?

The more you post the more your TOTAL AND COMPLETE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE EMERGES! :!: :!: :!: You are probably on the main mailing list from Diane Feinstein and Chuck Schumer!

Your statement that no child under the age of twelve should be handling a gun is ridiculous. You have never lived on a farm, or even out in the country a little bit, have you? When and where I grew up, it was normal for eight and ten year olds, and younger to learn responsible, safe gun handling. At least begin the process. There were no accidents.
Your response to the question of firearms is typical of someone who knows absolutley nothing about them. As a veteran who is at least passingly familiar with the small arms used by most of the world's armies, I can state that there is no such thing as a multi action rifle. Where did acquire your vast knowledge of things that aren't so?
It may interest you to know, if you would refer to FBI and DOJ statistics, instead of Mother Jones and MSNBC, in spite of the mass shootings we have had, more people die every year from stabbings, bludgeonings, and bare hands and feet than from ALL rifle deaths. You want to stop the slaughter? Go after cigarette smokers and drunk drivers.
As far as a normal society, normal for San Francisco is not normal for rural New Mexico, or Georgia. Who needs military weaponry besides the military? I do.

I actually thought my comment was pretty accurate and to the point!
As many others here have noted ,you have no idea of what you speak! You know nothing about the NRA just the anti's propaganda and that consist of false statements cooked math and less than half truths!
It's really bad when the anti gun bunch have to put out a manual teaching ignorant people like you how to lie effectively when you go about spouting bull shit the way you are doing it!
Alecia if you want to be taken seriously you must first bring some factual argument to the table, you haven't a clue just how bad your so called facts are from being true .Go back to school .

If you look up the "Child Soldier Prevention Act", that was signed by Bush in 2008, you will be enlightened with Who/Whom waived it. When you look at some of the pictures, you will see the age of these children. Some of them are nowhere near 12 years old. The old adage of "Do as I say, Not as I do", seems to apply here.

How did the term abomination ever apply to an organization that is dedicated to freedom? If you want to really see an abomination, you can look at the performance of Congress and Obimination activities. The real abomination is trying to eliminate "rights" and turn them into Privileges. Don't confuse the two. God gives us rights, the government gives us priviliges. God is never wrong, Government is usually wrong. This present government is dedicated to the philosophy of destroying freedom for tyrannic control. We must recognize it and stop it. If we don't, the USA will end up being just like any other banana republic. You can see where that leads.

Larry it is an abomination to them because they want to pick which of our freedoms we can keep and which we should loose! The only freedom they would like to see us keep is the freedom to pay taxes, anything else is considered a luxury that should be available only to the elite!
