My electric/gas bill went up 57% comparing December 2020 to December 2021. But I was relieved when I got my bill today and comparing January 2021 to January 2022 it "only" went up 36%.

Darn. you guys must be doing something.. My electric bill has been going down just a little bit.. runs around $110/120 per month.. but the last, in Dec, was Zero and I have a $28 credit for next (now this) month.

But I do belong to a coop electric distribution.. so I get a refund every year..

But for real, I have to say power is one bill which we can not do much about. conservation of course, but when it goes up, it will probably stay up for a permanent basis. Or nearly so..

But I do want to remind you Parky, Our fine President Biden is not in the solar panel business.. he has no money to make from your electric bill..

Speaking of which, I get ads for solar or some sort of green power nearly every month. have for near 2 years.. I has struck me as odd that those ads have not been a topic on OPP... all unsolicited ads frost me..

Have I mentioned one of our iron range towns has a thriving solar panel factory? It was put out of biz by the Chinse flooding the market some years ago.. Some Canadians bought the bones, updated the factory and have been doing well.. but now that I have remarked about it, I suppose I should check on how the current, today, market is doing for them..

But bad mouthing a local industry as you people do, I may have to notify the local right wing vigilantes and put a stop to such un American behavior..
